Lots of positives from todays game, but I was particularly pleased with how tidy we were.
Some great performances from quite a few players, but Savelio was my motm.

I've backed Shaul for man of Steel, so that was a good start to that, solid shift from him today. Everyone did their jobs well.

If that is representative of the season ahead (bid if, obviously), there looked to be a good few league places between those teams.

Hugely encouraging start. All of the new boys looks good but I thought it was the 2 not quite new boys in Savelio and Satae that stole the show. The whole pack was impressive though. Looking for offloads, pushing up in support, varying the point of attack. Connor didn't do too much flashy stuff but pulled the strings nicely. The most important thing though was the desire in defence.

I can't find fault with any of that. I said in pre season that I still had real doubts over Radford but if that is the standard we are going to set this year then I will be eating my words. Just got to back it up now.

Very tidy performance. Nothing astounding in attack but was a great allround performance. Sorry to be an Ellis basher but its time we moved on - we dont need him anymore - play someone else against KR please Lee

Enjoyed that. Ellis gave us 30 min and IMO layed the platform. Isnt going to play every game but still an important squad player
