| I think naughton is getting some unfair criticism. He was at fault certainly for the first try and maybe should have been there for the 2nd but the kid is playing his 2nd game at FB in 2 years so you can hardly expect him to be up to shaul's standard straight away.

| Hindsight is great but given the very short turnaround would have it not being even more important to have played a lot more fresher legs. I would have thought it was an ideal time to rest Houghton and give Jez Litten a run out and also one or two of Masim Matongo, Brad Fash Or Jack Downs and even a run out for a junior half?
It was always going to be a big ask after Saturday, we've being nicking games over the last few weeks (& some before that too) with some very patchy performances so this loss was very much on the cards.
Given the circumstances I would have been more than happy to see any of the above names in the 17 and maybe those extra fresher legs could have made a difference a la Warrington.
As I said, hindsight is great but it was done before so why not again?

Yeah, I'm sure radford would have been praised to high heaven putting out a team of kids last night who would likely have got mullered

Conditions won't have helped him settle into the role either (as at Leeds) Maybe judge him at full back when he's played there in non torrential rain!

Think that's why Connor got an opportunity to shine as well. Don't think he'd have been on the ball as much if Brough had been playing.

Naughton was poor, the previous post to yours was also of the same opinion so it not only me.
How do you know Yeaman would have defended two of their tries? Maybe you could send me next weeks Lotto numbers'"
If I knew the lotto numbers, you'd be the last person to know. Unfortunately for you it was Carlos that looked good at stand off, that's where he played when Pryce went off, substituted, because Radford had seen enough. Unfortunately for you several posters after your's have said that Naughton has been blamed unfairly. All season posters have said our right side is the weakest, Logan lost his place for poor defending, Yeamo ( your hated centre) came in and solidified the left side, he would have made the difference, did you watch the game? Was it on Sky? You are the worst kind of FC supporter, see what you want to see. Take your blinkers off, you're a joke.

| Yeaman could score a hatrick in the GF and he still wouldn't admit he is wrong about him.

Except I never said a team of kids, I said a couple of other players, whom with all due respect would have more in the tank, had more zip and be able to be more effective than 'better' players whom were clearly lacking and still obviously leggy from the previous game.
Flogging players has no benefit, the short/medium and long term benefit of resting players even if losing and using the full squad cannot be underestimated.
And you have no way of being able to predict what would have happened, how do you know they would have got tonked, as I said we beat Warrington at home with a whole host of players in the stands. Wasn't it the obvious tiredness even with those 'better' more experienced players that was a large factor in the result, that's exactly what has being described on this thread.
Hindsight as I said but there was a good reason to give it more than an outright dismissal as you have and more a reasoned argument for a one game loss over the longer term gain.

Agree. Got a lot of attributes that suit fullback. Positional play can only come with games and familiarity

You are the blinkered one.You just cant accept there are posters on here who are not part of your cuddle crew and have different opinions to you.
Of course i know it was Tuimavave that was moved to 6 after Pryce was hauled off.My point was that Pryce was so poor anyone taking his place for the remaining game time would have looked good in comparison.
I did not overly criticise Naughton. The lad has a lot of potential. I just said in this game he was poor which was a fair reflection of his 80 minutes.
You should also know with your vast RL knowledge that most teams right edge generally has far more defending to do than the left.
With your extrasensory perception telling me Yeaman would have made a difference then you will know where i watched the game wont you?
You have no idea how i support Hull FC,how many years i have supported the club personally or financially, thats my business and so is my opinion.
If all you want is to be a sheep on RL fans forum then thats fine, but try and come up with something constructive or meaningful for a change instead of trying to be critical all the time of certain posters because you are not very good at it.

You can be the Club Apologist, it's a very grand title but does leave you open to abuse, the good news is you don't have to listen to it.

Thankyou for the high praise but my RL knowledge is already legendary.
Yes I am critical of certain posters opinions, espescially when they are exposed as your's was on Thursday. My original post stated that you have constantly said you wanted Pryce at stand off, because Tiumavave in your opinion, isn't a stand off but a centre. You wanted Carlos to centre at the expense of Yeaman. You haven't addressed my comments, merely rambled on about Pryce being so poor, that anyone would have looked better. When you constantly bang on about a view that is then proved to be wrong, isn't time to accept a little criticism. I didn't attack you personally only your opinion but you came back with nothing but snide remarks, hence the "blinkers" comment. Over the years, I have listened to fans with negative, intransigent opinions and it's boring. I have never questioned your support of the club, only your opinion, this doesn't deserve, snide comments. This is the second time you have stated I am not very good at posting? I'll carry on in my own muddled way. As for your opinion that Carlos isn't the stand off to take the club to the next level, well I was under the impression, we'd taken it but I am probably wrong in your opinion, the table and CC cup fixtures suggest otherwise. Try to answer posts, not belittle the posters.
