Obviously. So big that I apparently can't distinguish a jokey, throw-away insult from something a little more meaningful any more. Which obviously helps when trying to avoid the more pressing issues.

Really? Don't believe you.
I have yet to see a 12 page thread criticising an FC player for giving an opposition player a bit of what for in a tackle. There is a 20 odd page one somewhere about what our south sea islanders should be doing to gob shiites who play for the opposition though

Do you mean stuck one on having been attacked around the head whilst prone on the floor or do you mean stuck on one as in a cowardly unprovoked attack?
If it is the former I [iwould[/i defend the player as he has every right to defend himself. If it is the latter then no, I wouldnt and I think a large majority would condemn him for it as well as it is unacceptable.

I mean stuck one on him in any way, shape or form. Most would be slapping him on the back for it although they'll deny they would

i wouldnt. I applaud tough play be it by us, KR or any side and I know because of the nature of the game there is a fine line at times but i dont agree with willingly crossing that line and despite your protestations I still like to beleive the majority wouldnt either.

No we wouldn't.
Not the cheap shots Cockayne and Newton tried.
I'm all for tough hard rugby league but they wen't beyond that.
We all know what Cockayne is like. Even the most biased Dobbins struggle to argue his case.
Anyone also notice Murrell's elbow tackle on Horney right at the end?
Clearly attacked his head with his elbow the penultimate tackle from the end of the match.

Murrell stood and smirked at Horney at the ptb too, he knew exactly what he had done and got away with.

Haven't seen too many complaining about Fitz charging over and barging newton over after said incident. Only staffs fc seems to have taken offence at it
I love your "holier than thou" attitude though, very refreshing at easter time

As some will see it as retribution for a blatant piece of foul play by a "hard man" on a full back with his back turned. Just a thought?.
Don't confuse my attitude. It is called decency. Try it. You may find yourself re-born, as you yourself pointed out it is Easter Time.

The one that doesnt get mentioned much is Vella 5th man in v Lauaki in the 2nd half. Ive mentioned it before but that appeared to be a serious attack to the head that could have broken Lauaki's neck.
