| Houghton is still the best number 9 at our club. Change my mind if you can?
When quality players like Tom Johnstone become available, we sign Brad Dwyer who hasn't made it at his last two clubs. That's why Catalans are top of the league and we're in the bottom few. They can attract top players while we sign average jorneymen.
We could have made do with Houghton and Lovodua playing at hooker. We just can't attract the the quality players to sign for us.

| As was said after the Salford game by FC fans a loss is a loss. It doesn’t matter what the score is, it’s still a loss whether you lose by 8 points or 50.
Saints were there for the taking tonight and you came up short……again.

Young Litten without being spectacular did enough to keep his place for next week. Looked a lot more confident a player than Mcintosh.'"
Talking of Hoy have to say im disappointed so far from what ive seen so far.
Maybe the expectation was high given he was likened to a Jai Field type attacking full back but we have seen zero running game from him either individual breaks or backing up breaks.
Saw more from Walker whilst he was here last season.
Lets hope he improves

Wow no reply so .....
As for the game
Great defence whys it taken a hammering to fix it
Houghton played well but still not the answer
Taylor best prop at the club 100%
Clifford best half we've had since Albo
But felt like we was full pelt and saints half pelt and they still won
Lots to build on but need to get rid of plenty of deadwood to go to the next level

He's been OK, looked good in the Cas game but has had no clean breaks. He made 31 carries last night bit the Saints defence was pretty tough to breech.

I like him, looks safe and despite no clean breaks, looks threatening, plenty of tackle busts and offloads. Think he will get better the better the weather.

You don't need to international class to be a good SL players, there are lots of examples. Lee Briers, Paul Cooke etc

Of course Keith that's why you and the gang where all over here last week despite both teams losing.

Let's face it, you're disappointed with just about everyone who pulls on our jersey. I don't why you bother, everyone knows what you're going to say.

| Disappointed with the loss. If the ball bounces nicely for Dwyer or the ref sends the Griffin decision up as a try things might have been different.
We defended much better for longer though, we need to match those levels every game. Thought we'd struggle more when Saints rotated their props but we went ok.
Can't knock anyone's effort this game. Hoy, Clifford, Griffin, Andre, Fash all had great games.
Keep Litten on the wing. Saints targeted him pretty much all game, he jammed in a few times but he had a solid game.
Ligi tried to overplay in the first half with a few offloads but he got through a load of work.
Satae seemed quiet. Maybe bring him off the bench and start Taylor.
McNamara comes in for Lovodua if fit against Leigh.
Hopefully the Swift injury isn't too serious, but can see him missing the Leigh game.
