Where do you think Griffin played today?
You and WIZ havnt a clue
Griffin played as a second row in the second half.
I dont know whether you watched the game but surely if you had you would have noticed the positional change when Connor went to centre.
In the coming weeks with Connor back in the centre and Ratu fit Griffin will be used more in the second row.

Fwiw I agree with you. I think Griffin's future is in the second row, it just suits his attributes better imo, and we saw the benefit of having a top class ball handling centre with Faraimo's try. Not sure Griffin would have been able to make that pass. He got through a mountain of work again today. 22 carries for 140 metres.
Obviously he will do a job in the centre when we need him there, but he has the size to play further in field and that little extra footwork and speed make him really dangerous against bigger, less agile defenders.
I thought all of our starting back line were great tonight. Faraimo, Tuimavave, Griffin and even Logan to a degree all stepped up and did a lot of hard work. We needed them to take the slack with us having such a weakened pack, and they rose to the challenge.
Wynne looks so comfortable at this level, hard to believe he has only just turned 18. Brown was also really impressive. When most props first play in the first team they are really just making up the numbers. You just want them to make their tackles, keep hold of the ball, and just take a bit of work off the senior guys. But Brown actually looked imposing out there. He hit hard, he was a handful, and he even has a bit of footwork. Really looking forward to see how he develops. He could be anything.
It wasn't a perfect performance by any means, and we rode our luck massively towards the end. But it was a performance full of character. If we can find the same effort and enthusiasm when we have a few more of our first choice 17 on the field then we won't lose many.

| If Hull FC did tv programmes then were The Peaky bloody Blinders
Sneyd was total Tommy Shelby there !!
Is Wynne a version of Arthur Shelby ? Really loving what I saw of Wynne. He’s a star in the making
Just finished watching. Sneyd has a hand in everything we needed to win with 4 secs on the clock. Genius
Great win

| Loved Wynne's attitude of giving a bit back to the Catalans players. A few times he got involved in a little bit of pushing and shoving and he showed he cant be intimidated out there.

We said the same, seems to be channelling it well though, not something you normally get with an 18 year old. Sounds like he's getting some intensive mentoring from both Shaul and Richard Horne who debuted very young as well, good to hear.

So were you shouting for Sneyd to be dropped a couple of weeks ago?
Have you continually told us that Griffin isn't up to it although he's been our biggest strike threat?
And are you sticking by Radford being sacked by Easter to be replaced by an Australian coach, that apparently, you are going to magic up?

| Got to echo the praise for wynne and brown
Wynnes support play was brilliant he was jonny on the spot, i thought he was very unlucky with the disallowed try as it seemed to go past him and hit the catalans player, the crap angles on the vid ref swayed it catalans way or he d of had two trys, seemed safe under the high ball and made some shauleque carrys out of our end, loved how he gave tomkins abit of stick too
Jack brown was brilliant never shirked a hit, loved how he kept talking to ellis asking for bits of advice by the looks, looked very promising, im hoping these two along with litten can be kept around the squad as that was a baptism of fire and they both came through massively

Theres other little things I like such as when with about 10 minutes left they put a kick in goal and Wynne picked it up about a metre from the dead ball line. With an on rushing defence most full backs there would just run it dead and take the drop out but Wynne actually had the confidence to try and get back in field. He beat Tomkins but then got hit by 2 defenders. Just thought it showed how confident the lad is.

Agreed about Wynnes disallowed effort.
Also thought it was a legitimate try, but with it going upstairs as a no-try and no help from the replays, we were shafted.
Could have been costly.
Fine margins.

| I also thought it should have been a try for Wynne. I aren't sure what it came off, but it didn't appear to be his hand. It looked like it either hit his hip/thigh, or went straight through to the Catalans player. We can't complain because the video ref could never give it with the angles available, but I think with a few better angles we would have got that decision.

| What a masterclass by Sneyd. When his team play to Radders gameplan we’re unbeatable sometimes. Keep it away from the middles and go wide. When Kasiano plonked the ball down and that diving, part time referee, Tomkins slotted the conversion over, every FC head was in it’s hands. Up steps Sneyd with seconds to go and agony to ecstasy. You had to be there. My lucky Jack Harrison shirt did it’s job again. Firmly back in the “Radders is the Dadders” camp and that game goes a long way to erase the Wire debacle. Hope away form can be emulated from Friday. Sore head this morning in Sunny Spain.
