green and bowden aren't SL standard IMO yet if we go with 5 props (if we had 5 fit), they'll both be playing every week. Front row is a big problem for us

Based on today's showing it certainly is.

Shame we didn't try and get Carvell when Bradford were wobbling.

| Quote: Staffs FC "Just got back in myself and I'm disappointed for RW more than anything else. I expected more first choice players to be playing and to play the game with no recognised hooker was just plain daft.
I'm glad I went and supported the Whiting testimonial but apart from that I'm left massively disappointed. I just don't get the point of playing these games if they're not to be used for honing the play of the first team - at least part of the game.'"
Spot on. I'll give them a miss next year I reckon.
If we don't want injuries, dont play until the season starts. If we do want to be up and running at day 1, play games so that the players who will be starting can get some practice together, hone the combinations etc. Paea, Feka and Houghton have had about 40 minutes each so far. We're going into the season seriously underdone. Again.

| Rich Whiting @Stilts84
Can only apologise to the FC fans that attended that the teams effort on the field didn't reflect the effort you made to travel over

As a rovers supporter all I can say is sorry to richard whiting who is my favourite fc player and deserved so much better. A total embarrassment to the club.'"
Not read all the posts yet but even though DesLawson is a pretty poor troll his/her comments sum it up brilliantly for me. The players have certainly let Stilts down today.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

Apologies for mixing you up with the other "Rovers".
What caught me out was you saying that your main half back pairing weren't playing.
What I should have said was we weren't playing today!

What is Hull's fascination with army camps? The whole idea of pre-season is to refresh the body, make it bigger, stronger and faster. To do this you need plenty of the right foods and plenty of rest/sleep as well as the correct training.
The whole concept of these army camps is based around depriving the body of food and sleep. It is totally self-defeating for a Super League club to be embarking on one in pre-season.

Didn't Huddersfield do something similar last preseason?

Looks good, had to bob up and down as the crossbar on the posts was in the way but if it had been a league/cup game i am sure i would have moved around for a better view. The only downside i could see was the bottlenecks caused at half and full time as people went to the toilets or left the ground.

Thank you,the day was all about richard whiting and to lay down like they did is a shambles. He is one player you can guarantee will give his best, every game and for me radford has disrespected him and the supporters who went to give him their support. A disgrace, but of course most of you wont accept it because the post came from me.The truth sometimes is hard to bear.

I was basing it on Kris Radlinski's blog who said that Wigans Conditioners knocked them on the head for the reasons I gave. Wigan won the Challenge Cup final and Grand Final. Huddersfield blew up in the play offs.
