| Great two points but looks like Griffin will be out for a while. Christ knows what side we'll have out at Warrington.
Great to see Miloudi heavily involved again. Could be a big player for us now.

I really thought he was a bystander for the most part, the only thing going for yeaman is he can tackle reasonably well but was caught out a few times today (understandably) aside from that he offers zero threat in offence and that was pretty much as it was in 2016, is there no-one else, Miloudi to start somewhere surely?

No headbutting there for me. Just a bit of 'locked horns'. Unless I missed something extra.

| I thought we were poor and any other side would have beaten us today. Rovers apart from Vai Vai were appalling.
Too many dumb plays, particularly when they were down to 12 and after Logan's try, too many pens and again getting involved twice at the end, we had the game won.
Yeaman was awful, unfortunately with Grffin out he looks there for the time being, but it's criminal that he started in front of Mouldi, who did more in 5 minutes.
Westy was great along with some brilliant from Shaul and Connor.

| Miloudi should start somewhere in the backs next week (he can take his pick given that none of our 2-7 are available).

you are right two very poor teams but we just dont learn when it comes to giving away penalties which usually seem to result in a try for the opposition.
I just dont get starting Yeaman.I would much rather have given a game to Sanderson on the wing and use Logan at centre.
I dont think it matters what team we put out next week at Warrington as we will get heavily turned over so i would start Miloudi in the halfs and move Connor back to centre.
Miloudi may make mistakes but his off the cuff play would give Warrington something to think about rather than knowing Hulls last tackle play will be a kick to the corner.
As you say Yeaman was awful.Playing Lane,Turgut or even Washbrook at centre could not have been any worse.

| Good to get the 2 points but we now have weeks before we get any players back and losing them left right and centre. Gonna be a difficult few weeks

| Well personally I thought it was a good performance comsidering our situation. It was exactly what I would have hoped for in a derby with an inexperienced team. Strong carries some offloads and good footwork.
Im not really sure what alot of you were expecting in terms of the team we put out, got the best out of it what we could IMO. Sure a good team would have beaten us but I should bloody well think so with a new half back in the side and a young kid and our conditioning coach in the centres. No recognised wingers and a centre at stand off.
Hats off to the guys who played for us tonight as i didnt expect a result.

This.
Not sure what some were expecting given the team we put out and the loss of Griffin during the game?

Don't be silly. Only negatives to point out when we win a derby by 2 clear scores and end it with first pick 2-7 out, 2 debutants and wheeling Yeaman out of retirement after 2 years.
