| Litten, another one, what’s he good at? Enthusiasm? Been poor under high ball, can’t tackle, can’t pass

Bit harsh bagging a young lad whos in his first season. He's probably been played too much but he's had to due to injuries to Hoy and Shaul. There's about a dozen others I'd be looking at before Litten.

You'd like to think they all won't be in the same match day squad though

| Just what did people expect before the season started?
We're around about where I thought we'd be, a bottom 4 club, which we have been for the past few seasons. If all the stars aligned I could've seen us make a push for the top 6, but that all went out the window during that 7 game losing run.
The fact that the players have "given up" once we have nothing to play for should come as no surprise to anyone, it's in this groups DNA. See Radford, Last, Hodgson.
Everyone wanted a clear out, and with 10 plus players going out that is what's happening. No all of those played, but they take up cap space that can be used in better areas and a chunk of them leaving are the ones you could blame for setting and upholding the poor "culture" that has plagued the club in recent times.
I don't expect us to reach the play offs next season, it's almost year 0 for me under Smith next season and give us a point to build from. Smith did similar at Rovers, you could argue they went backwards before they went forward under him.

Maybe is but point still stands. Full squad been called out over the season barring Clifford and Swift really.

Hull’s recent record in August and September, the last two months of the season, does not make for pretty reading. Taking 2020 out of the equation (which finished in November due to the Covid lockdowns), the last five seasons have seen them lose 28 of their 32 fixtures. That’s an alarming statistic.

| That's grim.
It wouldn't be FC if we headed into the off season with some optimism rather than depression and hand-wringing though would it.

That's incredible on the one hand but completely believable.

Would think so Dessie. Gives Litten time to develop, I'd let Litten and Tindall fight it out for a wing spot next season too

I wouldn't be disappointed with that, he was good for us last year and has by all accounts been decent for Rovers, I'd imagine he'd be fairly cheap and saves Litten playing every week when he's not quite ready, but always has that injury concern hanging over him, if the club don't sign a proper 7 next season then I give up.

You and many others I'd guess.
