In my eyes it’s only a concern if it keeps happening , or if we don’t bounce back next week with a good performance and win ! I didn’t go today, but maybe everything went wakeys way like they sometimes do in games . I didn’t fancy us today , thought wakey had more to play for anyway so result was no shock , just the score line .'"
I think a lot of things did go our way yesterday, two dropped balls/missed passes from you guys resulted in tries for us (BJB and Miller). We just had one of those days where we capitalised on every mistake, most weeks that doesn't happen.
I thought you guys looked like you'd rushed players back who weren't 100% and in that heat they really struggled.
I suspect when we play you again in the Super 8s that it will be a very different story.

Quote: Burtons Forearm "Fifita was good against us but he never scored from his own half...incredible effort. Taylor chased him hard though.
Have Wakefield signed Mal Meninga. That kid in the 4 shirt was a monster.
The highlights were that long i had to pay a month's subscription'"

Here you are make your own mind up, I just hope Warrington doesn't see it.

Just for information Burtons Forearm is a Kingston Rovers fan. I think he means Fifita didn't go the distance against his team.
Well done on the win yesterday, just a bad dream for us but like you we're in the super eights unlike aforementioned Rovers (and Leeds HAHA).

| Maybe it's after a realisation that you have had 2 of the most successful years in your history then this happens to really condemn a year back to mediocrity and normality that is what is adding to the pain a bit. Taking it in context every team will have that throughout a year ( maybe not 72!!) but a beating none the less, but the bigger picture of it confirming you have taken 2 steps back is what really takes the biscuit.
FWIW - as a KR fan I am gutted with the timing. There is absolutely no way on earth you will play that bad or be allowed to play that bad again, so in front of a big gate on Friday you will put a show on. We could of done with you taking it a bit easier so we could rest a few for the middle 8's - if i was TS i'd be thinking your going to be 100 miles an hour now so if we end up on the receiving end of a similar scoreline our confidence will be diminished. A bit of a conundrum now isn't it for us!
Take the banter, don't be bitter and enjoy the we won the derbies 3-0 trophy that's going to come next week. Trust me, relegation feeling is a lot worse.

| I think what everyone thinks, is that we know we have players out injured and we haven't had a full strength side, but what we have done is handed out contracts for next year to players who miss a vast amount of games. The squad isnt going to change from what it is now, and that worries me for next year. Remaining with the same personnel means we play the same style of game. We don't have the biggest forwards anymore, we perhaps do in the backs, but I would rather have pace. Wakefield have a bigger pack, and more pass on the wings than we do, so they can play 2 different styles of rugby if they want. With us, if we can't go over them, we still try to go over them

| Big gamble yesterday, playing injured players which clearly didn't pay off.
Was it worth the risk? Probably not, as we have probably aggravated injuries etc. Radford is a great coach, and is our future, but he got this wrong and he knows it.
Bit of a disaster of a day really. I think we are in for another hiding on Friday to be honest. While I'm sure the players will want to right wrongs, we simply don't have the bodies - even the ones playing are strapped up and fatigued. Season is over but at least we have managed to stay out of the bottom four and we've had chance to build some real experience within the fringes of our squad - which should help next year!

Yes he got it wrong and admitted it.
great coach? No
Would i want him to be sacked like Peter Gentle was? No
Radford has come a long way since his appointment but has to learn now that the game is changing. All the top 4 teams are full of pace and use the pace and ball movement in the backs to keep their forwards a lot fresher because they have to do less grunt upfield.
I will keep saying this but even with a fully fit squad we wont make the top four next season.
This is a team in decline.Yes they may compete in one offs like the C/C but we need a consistent team and we have seen over the last two seasons that we are not.

Firstly bonaire, your posts rarely find any positive outcome for us, you must have missed the last two grand final semi finals, OK we came up just short but we were a game away on each year of turning out at Old Trafford.
So we will stick a couple of Challenge cup victories in the last two years instead Wire then the pies, victories at Wembley.
There are only two f######g trophies of any note to win, we’ve won one each in the last two years, how much consistency do you want?
As for your forecast of not making the four “again” baloney I say.

| Wakefield needed a win.
We didn't (realistically we are not going to trouble the top 4 come the end of the 8's).
Wakey were pumped for this game
We weren't.
We took a gamble on 4 or 5 players injury wise with 5 or 6 others playing because of others injuries. The gamble backfired and the replacements were exposed once again.
We got gupt and deserved it.
It doesn't happen that often, take it on the chin and console yourself to know we simply cannot play that poorly in our next game!

| At least the team showed pride in the shirt coming back strongly in the last 10 minutes.

He's right we are not a consistent team as some of our blow outs against weaker teams only demonstrate.
Last year we only made the 4 because Wakey did us a favour and beat Wigan otherwise we'd have missed out.
Yes 2 CC wins have been fantastic but again we have raised our performances for those games.
As for those 2 GF semis again with a consistent performance we'd have been finalists no doubt as we only turned up in the 2nd half of both games.
Are we a team in decline? I'm not sure yet but we are an ageing team with no genuine pace.
Our improvement over the last 2 seasons has been evident but we were dross for the seasons before.
Am I happy with 5th even with injuries, not really. I'd have been content with 5th if the gap to 4th was not so big.
Yes injuries have definitely played a part but daft losses away to Salford, Cats, Hudds and at home to Wigan have been our real undoing which again comes down to consistency and mental attitude. Something of which we struggle with.
Crack those and we would be top 4 for sure.

Ageing team, not really sure that is accurate?
Apart from Mini, all of our players are under 32, if say our strongest 17 is one of the youngest in the league.
After that it's hard to argue with the rest

Maybe a bit off with the ageing then but I was thinking of Mini and Washy and a few of the others over 30 now.
