To be fair some of the 18s have been playing in the under 20s, because some of the 20s were called into the first team squad, making the under 18s a tad under strength.  |

Appreciate that mate and we have done the same over the years.
I was more or less eluding tothe fact that Hull has a pretty large service area yet don`t for whatever reason seem to capture any real talent at that age.
As a result you are playing kids who would never make it and the good players go elsewhere.
I just thought you would have had a better team.

It's a pretty large service area that's shared by 2 SL clubs, not one as in most other cases. Not sure how the population numbers stack up either.
All that said, we know that the youth side of the club has been run badly and not been invested in adequately for the last several years. The new owner and management team are working on it but you can't turn around years of underinvestment overnight. |

Total non story, it's a bank holiday and FC won and KR lost, why would the HDM focus on good news when a bit of negativity sells a few copies of the rag. |

Can't be anything else - great stuff. Just hope he doesn't get too involved in stuff like picking the team. Bet Clark, Sutton and McRae aren't looking forward to it.
Feel a bit sorry for Barmby. As an FC nut, being told by the Allams he can't attend the KC (according to journals on Twitter) must have been hacked off to have missed Saturday night. |

Hardly news Paul, although I expect to see AP back at a football club sometime in the next few months, but he will concentrate on FC until September I'd imagine. |
