If you assume KR take eighth from us some time soon, we have a strike rate of 32% against what would be the current top eight.
That is pretty damning in my opinion we win 1 in 3 three games or less against the better teams that we are competing against for the top eight. We can't even state we have a right to be in the top eight with figures like that.
It's information like this and the fact that Agar's win rate is about to fall below 40% that makes you wonder what do the BOD use to evaluate his performance.'"
That's incredible. What with finishing 12th,11th and 6th I'd have thought our strike rate against those teams above us would have been 80-90% .
Seriously - just look at the league finishing positions in future and don't bother wasting your time proving the obvious.

Well it seems some people don't get the obvious so stats are needed to show we are abysmal under Agar. As Agar is such a huge fan of stats.... well the ones that show him in a good light at least.... I think it is the perfect way to show what a super job he is doing.

Agar needs to understand one stat, public support and opinion, his approval rating is slightly less than that of a screaming child on a long haul flight.

Thanks for your concern regarding my time management. But honestly there is no need to worry, I don't think I'm stretching myself time wise with a calculation that takes as long as it does to log into this forum.
The point that needs to be made and some people fail to see is that a 6th place finish last year has led people to believe that we compete with the teams in and around the top 6 and for that matter the top 8. It is clear with a couple of calculations that we only consistently beat the bottom four or five teams in the last three years under Agar.

Fantastic that's put my mind at rest.

Here's the stunning reality - if we consistently beat the teams in the top 6 whilst retaining our form against the teams you mention we would finish higher than 6th. The way these leagues work is incredible isn't it ?

OK I understand the argument you are trying to make and I do not disagree. However the reason I posted the numbers is, if Agar's win rate is say 40% overall, which it is. Then over three seasons, after enough results, it is reasonable to assume that against all teams in the league the average win rate is 40%. So we may not beat every team 4 out of 10 times we play them but it should average out. This is not a statement I would normally make in a sporting context. The premier league for example has a few giants and the left scrap for the minor placings but superleague becomes more competitive due to the salary cap every year and is more fluid with teams moving positions every year.
The figures I posted just show that, as most people are stating on here, Agar cannot get FC to play anywhere near to their average capability against any team in the top 6 and for that matter the top 8. Is this what FC should settle for

| Agar and McDermott at Leeds are further evidence (if any were needed) that there are very few good British coaches. I'd love it if the opposite were true, but when you see the impact of Maguire at Wigan, Smith at Leeds and Warrington etc, the reality can;t be ignored.

The young Australian coaches learn their trade over many many years. A case in point is Neil Henry from the Cowboys. He was Canberra U/18's coach in 1998. Shane Flanagan from the Sharks coached Roosters lower grades before spending at least 10 years as an assistant.
My point is they serve an extensive apprenticeship in a professional club where quality coaches are having a positive influence on their careers.
Any SL player who retires and becomes an assistant is missing out on many years of coaching experience.
