| Quote: Rocknrolla69er "Well Houghtons out of contract so there's one we can say thank you for your services too. Distribution is getting worse, and head doesn't look in it at times.
Shaul has he got another year after this one? If so try and loan him out with his wages covered for next season.
Taylor same as above.
Griffin same as above.
You've got to question, the decisions from the top, contract renewals and judgement on players, leaving a hell of alot to be desired. Still alot of work to do on this squad, Hodgson isn't helping by persevering with massively out of form seniors and players who have been told they arnt needed by the club anymore.
Catch 22 stick with the ones with the wrong mentalitys and bad form and hope for the best.
Or introduce an academy batch, putting up with maybe short term pain, but the experience will do them good, plus the effort and desire would be there.
Very intrigued what happens end of season, as soon as Connor got injured this season was done for me, as we're way too 1 dimensional, and Hodgson seems to have no plan or attacking strategy in place.
I'd be working my hardest to remove the 4 mentioned, and shrewdly if possible signing some senior pros to replace them who have strong leadership and professionalism, to compliment the talent coming through.'"
We can't afford to cover those 3 wages, we are looking to cut the cap, think we need to except these 3 (4, as Houghton will have a new deal already) next season.
Hodgson needs to grow some balls and drop the likes of Houghton and Taylor this season, send out a message. Will never happen though.

| If that's the case then dropping them is the only way forward.
I just don't think Hodgson is brave enough, Andy Last had the balls to bench Houghton during a poor patch.
If they don't play next season they don't count towards the cap, will Pearson take the financial hit?
I agree I don't think itl happen, and I think we l see a big drop off in pass sales personally. People are fatigued with it all now.
Trueman aside who are we signing to bring change?

Not sure how it works with the cap, but I thought they only counted once they played a game.
Pearson ain't paying any off though.

Where was Renolds when you need him

I think we will bring in another halfback/fullback, hopefully a backrower too.
One thing we need next season is some luck with injuries.

| Just watched the highlights. You miss a lot whilst your there mainly through having your head in your hands. Some of the efforts for our tackling is not acceptable. Whilst i was there Taylor Shaul Houghton mac plus Lane who IMO just isnt doing it where terrible, The body language was awful. My old coach told me you learn more from players when your losing heavily than at any other time,Who digs in, Who battles and who gives up.

How can shaul be at fault most tries were on the edges
Your criticism of shaul is just embarrassing at times
If Connor played yesterday 100% you wouldn't of mentioned him for the tries yesterday

Just as thought you don't go to games, I'd you did then you would know Shaul moved to the wing and did a pathetic attempt on Handley.
Watch the highlights, out of position for Leamings 2nd too.
The thing is, Connor creates things to counter balance poor defence, Shaul doesn't, as you would have seen yesterday had you gone to the game.
