he called a forward pass and got backchat for it.
the crowd called it, he called it, but there wasn't one
nevertheless, you can't gob off about it, especially pointless since the game was gone.

Think you need to tilt your prediction pendulum more toward optimism than your current pessimism position. Your realism is about right!

| Can’t believe a thread on the Wakey board saying Ellis is poop and basically a cheap shot merchant!!!!
Pity they don’t say the same about Pauli paulis two high shots which at least one was worthy or the same punishment Ellis got as in a yellow. Amazing also how they fail to mention the grubby h0use stuff the Kirmond does during a game.

| Ellis should not have even been in a position to do a tackle if that rubbish Ref had blown for the blatent obstruction he missed in the first place.

But thought it was only Hull he could call for obstruction through the 80 mins or it definitely seemed that way.
Just glad we made it 4pts from 6 over Easter just hope it’s nit come at a cost.

He wasn’t too bad to be fair considering how long he’s been out. He rang the ball in well and don’t remember him making many if any mistakes.

| Quote: Bombed Out "Thankfully your doom and gloom prophecy did not come true, told you to have more faith.
You've again listed who we had missing to further big up our victory but you really didn't need too.
Shaul, Mini and Faraimo are the only main ones missing. Naulago was dropped, Lane is only ever back up, Bowden has been missing since last season so his absence has been accounted for but it was good to see Green back, who played well.
Wakefield were far more affected by injuries than us.
Hadley definitely won't play Friday so we'll have to see about the rest.
A good win though and a good team effort from 1-17 although special mention from me would go to Griffin, Taylor, Kelly and Wynne.
Hopefully this will give us a further confidence boost for Friday against a Cats team that has also been spanked today.'"
Lane would be in my 17 every week.
Don't get your point about Bowden, does it matter how long he has been out for, this still injured and would be in our 17, so he is a loss.
Thought we were the best team for 60mins, had Ellis not been sinbinned I think it would have been over by half time, there is no doubt they had key men missing, but so do we and down to 2 subs for the majority off the game after Easter shows how good a win that was.
Good position to be in, 3rd with our squad and injuries is miles ahead of were 99% rugby fans thought we would be.

Cheers Chris, we just need Bowden back now, and hopefully a return of Tag mint Bowden Greeny Mickey P and Massi gives us a bit of that go forward which served us so well in the past, we maybe don’t have a Dave Fafita but we do have a tried and tested front row.

What annoyed me most about Fifita, when Ellis was sin binned, was, he applauded the ref.
There was far to much talking to the ref, going on in yesterdays game, and Jake Connor was one of the worst offenders.

No errors, average gain 11.71m, highest of any player in the game (admittedly against a tiring defence it still).
Another monster stint from Griffin as well - 166m, and 128m from Tag.
