It would appear the reason the Bradford team made it before the Hull lads is because they hadn't gone beyond the junction on the M62. So their coach could come off, the Hull lads were stuck in front of them but couldn't get off the motorway. Sods law I'm afraid.

the story will unfold but it looks like bradford have agreed to this. i wonder if there could have been grounds for them to claim the points, but as they have been stuck out there themselves, they may have had sympathy and decided the fair thing was to play the game. just a thought at this stage

Absolutely amateur by Hull FC. The players shouldnt be travelling across just a few hours before. They should be there in the morning being monitored, given the right diet etc. This is beyond amateur imo

Not sure about the whole 'players should be there earlier' argument, but the handling of the problem was cack. Leaving fans sitting there in the cold, not communicating with local media, saying the game is on, then calling it off - quite poor.

How is it any different than the Bradford team coach setting off at around the same time, but being fortunate enough to get out of the problem?

Exactly being late in this instance was beneficial. Ironically if our lads had set off later they would have got off at the junction Bradford did.
