i will return to this in 6 games and re ask you this same question!! lets hope your wrong and i am right i am sure you agree sweetie??'"
What are you on about??? where are the 7/8 wins coming from? Is that all year????
If you come back in 6 weeks we certainly won't have won 7/8. Let me make it easy. Played 3 lost 3. If Wakey win at the weekend wiith a 14 point swing and Crusaders beat us, we won't be technically bottom, we'll be actual bottom, played 4 lost 4. Ignore last seasons ending, when we lost 3 in a row. This time we'll have lost 4 in a row. Unacceptable for a club like ours.

I'm not denying anything you may be right. When was the last time Hull fans' pressure removed a coach at the club out of interest ? Len Casey, maybe ?

Without wishing to stick my oar in, I'd have thought it wouldn't take a huge amount of imagination to see how the two could be reconciled. If he believes that our chances of success over the course of the season (and beyond) will be improved by Agar going, and he believes that a few losses will achieve that, then the two can be reconciled without any difficulty. You might think he's totally misguided, but it's easy to see where he's coming from.

I didn't see it so I wouldn't know. If all it said was 'Agar Out', then, no.

Yeah, weren't those scenes in the square in Egypt so amazing with everyone chanting for regime change and holding their 'childish retorts' aloft.
Making a banner is a recognised and reasonable form of protest, if you want to pretend that it's not it makes you look even more silly.

| Can't be bothered to read all 11/12 pages but here's my penny's worth.
As people have already said on here, the only real protest that is going to be taken seriously is one where the fans stay away in mass numbers. The best time for this would be at the derby at easter. A half empty staduim on Sky, on derby day would send out a massive message to the board.
By this time we would have played 10 games and given the team enough time to prove that these first 3 games was just a bad start to the season.
But if the team are playing well and are winning game then we shouldnt be protesting, we should be getting behind the team. As those who protested on Sunday should have, fair enough, take your Agar Out banners but whats the point chanting Agar out and waving banners when the team put in a good effort and were unlucky to lose, these are the times you get behind them. If they played like they did against Leeds and Rovers then make yourself heard because the team are not putting in the effort they should be.

Might have been a factor in Sharpe going? Can't think of any other cases of the top of my head.

Dunno about Hull, but you see it quite often in sport. Teams start underperforming, fans get restless, gates drop or fans protest (booing, banners, whatever) and the board sack the coach.

Which was the explanation he came up with and with which I disagreed. I doubt the two of us will change our positions anytime soon.

Come on Paul. If you believe that the club would think they can replace Agar with a like for like, then that (imho) is dumb thinking.
They will know that they have played the 'loyalty card' for far to long in regards the coach appointments. They may bring them in on a caretaker role, but they will know the fans expect them to deliver far better then what we have had.
