I'll believe it when there's been no more such posts for the next six months.

Good luck to him, as long as he's wearing a bike helmet!

| I saw someone in one of those Hull FC cycling shirts at kingswood the other day. I was tempted to run him over but thought the likelihood was that it wasn't letchworth's finest so left him be

Our NHS has got enough on their plates without sticking him in casualty telling our doctors and nurses how to do their jobs properly.

I've cut it all, I've said pretty much everything before, I just get abuse or comments intended to get a rise and nothing to do with the discussion, I've already been told to stop playing the same record today yet it's the same issues that set us back and that includes how LR deals with developing our academy.
Anyway, what's the point, he can't change, he's proven that, fans can't change his mind/how he does things so really is it even worth discussing. We'll either be great, indifferent or a complete bag o poop. As I said upthread, season isn't over til its over.
However we do need to move on, how LR does that I don't know because IMHO I don't think he has the ability to change how he does things, certainly not on his own/with the current coaching set up'"
In all honesty, I d like to see the mods come down a bit harder on those posters who are in essence goading your comment. It’s effectively bullying.
I don’t agree with many of your point, but I like to think I don’t respond with anything abusive (and I know your comment above was not aimed at me).
Personally I agreed that Radford rode his luck and also agree that he was probably 23 mins on good Friday 2016 away from the sack. But IMO he has developed as a coach, just from his post match comments after all games, he is insightful and doesn’t just quote the cliches many coaches do.
Our club needed stability and it has reaped rewards in the form of two Wembley wins. Our style of play has improved with the introductions of players like Kelly and Conner. I know all clubs have injuries but we have been hit significantly to the extent of us over playing certain players to the point of fatigue, clearly evidenced in the last two games.
I feel you don’t factor this in with you’re comments on LR which is wholly unfair.

To be fair Radford as grown on me, I like is honesty, and he is quite funny with it, my main issue with Hull is our indifference in intensity from week to week, I don't care who's out injured , the level of intensity should be at maxium capacity every week, regardless of opposition, players out injured, importance of game. We wouldn't be losing games like thursday if it was. When we play at a high intensity, we are much more clinical, and our set plays, structures actually look very dangerous. We to often look lack luster and unfocused , which results in to many errors and lack of confidence . If Radford can sort out the inconsistencies , I think he'd be a very good coach

It’s the inconsistencies that are his TM
It’s who he is
He can’t solve them and never ever will
That’s why we won 2 x CC and not 2 x GF

With Bellamy not winning the grand final every year does that make him inconsistent

| Bellamy is a very good coach but he has 2 legitimate Grand Final wins in 15 seasons so Radford has plenty of time to catch up. What's more Bellamy blew it twice in the 4 seasons they were cheating.

Exactly , 2 challenge cups under his belt , he's still pretty inexperienced, he can obviously get them up for the cup games, hence the saints performance which we was very unlucky to lose, transfer that to week to week league games , we won't be far off

i agree with you about Radford but can also see Knockers point of view.
My reservation with Radford is this glaring inability to post points when we have repeat sets in the oppostion 20.
How many times do people mention we attack too deep, passing is laborious and slow, players not running onto the ball, lack of offloads and no backing up the runner.
This is where we need major improvement which doesnt seem to happen therefore can appreciate to some extent why Knocker feels Radford cant take us any further as this surely is a coaching deficiency or simply an area which Radford doesnt work on enough.
Whether you liked Pritchard or not our pack then was feared, now we are lightweight with no impact whatsoever.
Do we need to change our style of play? yes
Do we need a new coach? not at the moment
