We got more penalties as they were trying to slow us down, I'd Child or a stronger ref had been in charge we would have had more penalties and someone in the bin or change their style.
We should have held down more once we realised the reffing style. |

The thing that made you win was that you stuck with it to the end.
After the schedule you've had your forwards had every right to be completely knackered late on and let things slip.
They weren't perfect but they did enough to win.

Even more dominating than I thought and we should be wining by a lot m,ore than 7, with these stats, twice as many metres , 60 more carries, more offloads, breaks and carries. Goal kicking would have helped and two really soft trys from kicks.
Massive effort from Paea and Ellis, great effort by the left edge.

Certainly hard not to be happy with that and I think that's the general feeling from wakey fans all round. Good to be in the position to be able to rest so many players, must have helped with the short turnaround, you can see Wakey are playing with no pressure and some of their fringe players are really trying to impress. |
