Found this on the Premier Leaage website
Should the FA Cup winners, runners-up (if applicable) and the Football League Cup winners already have qualified for Europe, their place goes to the next best placed clubs in the Premier League.
Looks like City would miss out if they lost the final

and his gesture offering 20 free tickets for Council staff for the game on Sunday for them to support the team.

Tsk, think we only got 10, I sense favoritism/bribery.

| Allam's conduct has influence on the SMC, which has influence over FC, therefore perfectly relevant to keep it open.
So mote it be.

What, when he said this?," he said."
Apart from moving to Melton, claiming the sporting village had no commercial aspect, finishing absolutely any council dealings, and walking away in the event of the FA declining the name change, you mean?

| Quote: WormInHand "Agree. Don't think anyone can take the low "turnout" as an indication of apathy.
Spoke to a colleague today for the first time since the vote. She is vehemently anti Hull Tigers and passionately wants to retain Hull City as as the embodiment of the club's history and tradition. She says a name change would be akin to removing the soul of the club.
She voted "Not too concerned will support the club either way". Astounded, as I know how desperately she is No to Hull Tigers, I asked why. Apparently, on the ballot paper you had to report your name, address and seat number. My friend pointed out that she didn't feel comfortable identifying herself as a No voter and being tagged as 'Anti Allam' (she's not against Allam and wants him to stay) bearing in mind that the following week the club were going to be allocating the FA Cup semi tickets. She actually thought voting No would jeopardize her chance of getting tickets, plus she didn't want the Allams to think her No vote was a vote against their ownership.
So as well as threats, loaded questions and dubious administration, the ballot was not anonymous. I'll wager the vast majority of passholders were reluctant to reveal themselves as No voters to the Allams. Understandably, really, with their past history of over-reaction and vengeful outpourings to perceived slights.
This wasn't a referendum about a change of name. It was rigged blackmail, in my opinion. And I admire the bravery of the 46% that had the courage to vote 'No' but thoroughly understand the motives of those far too uncomfortable or downright scared to vote "No", like my friend, who will have voted neutrally or not at all, certainly not because of apathetic reasons. They are Allam's real 'silent majority'.'"
Why would you be frightened that he knew who you was....If I felt so strongly about an issue, I'd want him to know who I was and that I was totally apposed to his plans......given the opportunity if I felt that strongly I'd want to hand him my opinion personally, not as if he could have you shot is it.
FFS, stand up for what you believe in regardless of the consequences!!!!!

Why does Allam need names and addresses? Nobody knows how you vote in a political election.
