| Betfred have us down to finish 8th in their predicted SL table . Not sure where they had us at the beginning of the season , Probably not as high as 8th .

Think this Magic Weekend game is already massively defining. If we can rack up the two points and keep up the feel good factor, I'm going 8th or higher. If we slip-up it could be a momentum busting balloon buster that'll see us scrambling about in the bottom 4 come season end. Let's just get them beat.

Robinson's team is due for a win sometime and it could be this weekend.

| It’s cheaper for the RFL to bail Salford out then having the pay the penalties to Sky for not fulfilling its obligation so one way or another Salford will complete the season and fulfil the fixtures even if it becomes more of a farce.

| Let’s not get too giddy Barometer Day can be a somber day as well as in Last 6 years
I’m all in for 4th !!
I said 5th at the start of the season As long as Carty proved to be as good as the players were saying
After the Wigan game he very clearly articulated exactly where we’re going Wrong
His job is to make sure he can change the errors !
I think he can go a long way and by the Play offs we will see a better FC
I am sure the Barometer is correct and the worst position we finish is 5th

Isn?t it typical that rovers play Salford at Magic !
Not sure what you mean. I think it’s right that derbies are avoided at MW. Salford must complete their season with who they can use as players. They’ll have blooded some good youngsters by the end of the season whether they play at Salford or elsewhere.

| I think attitude to our current status depends on how you are as a person. I feel upper mid table would be a great finish. Must think back to last season before being unhappy with this. I dreaded going the MKM now I always have hope. As has been said we’ve played some good teams, have struggled with injuries and possibly had some poor decisions against us. The ‘mistake’ made has been showing glimpses of the potential. Once we can get consistency which is practice practice get some luck with injury and decisions we will be well up there. We have upgrades for next season too. The doom and gloom comes off that Wigan defeat also Rovers defeat but fails to see the big picture imo

| Started the season hoping for 8th, so the season to date has been better than expected. My revised hope is that we now make the Play Offs. That would be a great turnaround and a solid foundation for further improvement next season.

| As quite a few on here have already said, probably the biggest plus point of the season so far has been the turnaround in fitness, attitude and commitment from the very depths of despair that we all plunged into last year.
Around this time twelve months ago there was a lot of talk coming out of the club about 'culture change'. This in turn was being used to excuse away the fifty point hammerings that we were having to endure on a seemingly weekly basis!
In the space of approximately half a pre-season Cartwright and his coaching staff brought about this so-called 'culture change' and, what's more, we didn't have to stand/sit through a endless series of ritual humiliations while they did it.
Amazing what happens when experienced people with a clear working plan are put in place in the right positions in a sporting club. Who'd thought it eh, experienced quality staff delivering on the job they set out to do while enhancing the business. I'm amazed no-one's ever thought of it before!!!
