A ten team league is crazy. Uneven fixture lists and with play offs and the Cup potentially playing some teams four or five times a season. We have uneven fixtures now, 10 teams playing each other 3 times is fairer than now where a team could get their loop games v cas, hudds and Salford, and another could have loop fixtures v rovers, Wigan and Leigh say. Expanding to 14 isnt the answer either, especially if you take the french teams out, there just isn't the player pool to sustain it. The current loop fixtures are based on league placings the previous season, it's not done randomly.

But it's not fair currently is it teams don't play each other the same number of times, any team that plays Salford three times this year has an advantage over a team that plays Wigan three times this year

Besides, couldn’t that still happen in a 10 team league?

It'll be uneven because with nine loop fixtures some teams with have fourteen home games and thirteen away games and some with have it the other way around. At least with the present system all team play thirteen home and thirteen away (plus Magic).

| So it seems an absolute classic session of RL chaos.
Wigan and Catalan have been planning a 20th anniversary of Catalan and 30th anniversary of the 1st SL game trip Paris next year.
Meanwhile other SL owners considering saying Au Revoir to Catalans, while potential new owners the NRL want to keep them and throw some of the other SL sides out instead.
Anyone got Netflix's number? There's a 6 part drama to be had.

| going forward, can only see two things happening, stay as we are and the clubs wanting the french out withdraw their stance....and we plod along as we are, no doubt sky will offer another poor tv deal, but if they get enough votes to remove them, then i can see a breakaway, the 5 pro french clubs going to join a NRL Europe with invites to Toulouse/London...let the others fight against each of themselves for a remaining 2 spots! Biggest surprise for me against the French are Saints (rumoured), is Eamon skint!?
