He milked the Jason Crookes thread as much as he could now he's moved on to a thread about Seymour, but instead of answering the OP's question he wants to drag up Seymours much publicised recent past, just about sums him up, a complete and utter kn0b head.

| Too many injures, far too slow for a halfback I seen more from miller in the few games for hull than I saw from Seymour in all his time at hull.
Ellis and Seymour would be the worst halfback partnership in SL next season.

Seymour was probably never 100% fit for hull and guilty of trying to hard to appease the critics.Good luck to him if he signs for you.!'"
If are going to troll ,you don`t have to stoop so low as to mention those two.

| Too be fair to Seymour if you look at which position he was most effective at during his NRL career it was at six. Gentle said just before the start of this season that Buster isn't a natural scrum half. Would love to see the guy at least be able to put in some decent super league performance after what he's been through. I also believe it would be good for the sport in general to see someone back playing at the highest level again after experiencing mental health difficulties.

Indeed. Briers' replacement.

| Seymour isn't very good. Signing him to replace Chase would be like Man Utd signing Danny Graham to replace Robin Van Persie.

Opening post was from a Cas fan asking for opinions from Hull fans about a former player. So I would say pretty relevant, not like he can go on the other boards and get a fair assessment.

44896_1303224625.jpg In a nutshell...a brissie LEGEND:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_44896.jpg |
|
| his problems started way before he arrived in the uk...... getting sacked by brisbane and cronulla for drinkining related incidents and then getting shipped of to new zealand warriors, culminating in a drink-driveing ban just before he left for the uk.........
and the rest is history when he arrived here...... brett seymour has serious mental issues in which i hope he is addressing, how and why these thoughts have happend i dont know, but he was/is a troubled man unfortunatly.......
to be honest i didnt think youd see him play at any proffesional standard again... and i also thought he would drift of back into country football back home.... and never to be heard of again.....
id be really giving him a wide berth..... i cant see the logic of giving him a chance, id say its to far down the line for that

| Forgetting all the mental baggage, Brett Seymour did not bring any attacking flair or organisational skills that the team needed from an expensive NRL half back. His lack of pace and creativity were the biggest disappointment. I thought he tried hard and defended very well. Good luck to him but not a good signing imho.

| He's up there with some of the biggest hitting half backs in the competition. Obviously he was employed to direct the team in attack, which he did struggle with, but I thought his defence was spot on!

| Would wish him and Cas all the best. Didn't provide the impact at 7 that we desired and obviously had some baggage that resulted in the well documented problems. Maybe, as mentioned, a move to 6 and playing at a club a little less in the spotlight will work out for him.
