| He had an ok game. Nothing special, not bad. Game didn't lend itself to him to shine. Virtually no other wingers gonna do much better against Monahan when the kickers get a free reign to place the ball on oppositions stationary head.
He'll go to Australia and be great. Don't get why people are brainwashing themselves by disregarding all the wondrous things he's done in his time here now he's likely leaving. Australian clubs wouldn't be looking if he was anything other than special. Oz wingers are more erratic than Tom. Some are poor. Who are the state of origin wings and international wings? None stand out. Usually centres and full backs get picked cos no wings command the position. Manu vatuvui would be in most people's sides but can drop a ball simply by running with it.

Yeamo put some good work in defence today but he hasn't scored since Salford at home last July.

| Thought Yeamo could have put Briscoe away a couple of times. Shame his foot just went into touch in the first half. Considering he is one of the best attacking wingers in the league, I wish we could find ways of giving him more ball.

He put some good work in defence in the first half. Second half, not so much. Was criminally at fault for one try in fact.
His lack of threat in attack at the moment is a worry. Not just because he isn't scoring but because teams can mark Briscoe more heavily as they know Yeaman isn't a threat. Needs to up his game.

| Most wingers get beat on a attacking kick cos the attacker has a running jump, just get behind the players and stop crucifying them all players make mistakes

Still is Westy too, but he's playing pretty well this season so it's got to be someone else.
I knew Briscoe would get the "his head's in Oz" crowd this year, I just didn't expect it to be so early when he was very good last week and pretty good in our first two games.

| Only people who know nothing about the game would ever question briscoe's ability or commitment. best player this club has produced in almost 30 years

You only have to look at the service the likes of Hall and Monaghan receive compared to the scraps Briscoe has to work with to see why he's less prolific. If you put him into a top side he'd be somewhere near the top of the try scoring charts every year. He's also very good in defence (tackling and cover tackling-wise). His only real weakness is how he performs under high kicks.

Look at Charnley, Briscoe is better than him in almost every aspect of the game but Charnley out scores him every season because all he has to do it catch it and put it over the line because of the service he gets.

| At half time Briscoe was one of the last off the pitch as he was going around encouraging the other players as they went off. Hardly someone who doesn't care. Even if he does go to the NRL, and I wouldn't blame him for accepting such an opportunity, there is no reason to believe he's stopped trying. I despair at times for some of our "supporters". He was beaten by 2 plays, which when executed as well as well as they were, are extremely difficult to defend against.

| Briscoe has flaws defensively and we know all about them, but I don't get the impression he is not interested. He had very few opportunities with the ball last night compared to Monaghan who had a high ball to attack after almost each set of 6.
