Halves
I'm not saying he is now, I never have said that. He could have been in and around the GB set up if he kept his injury record clear, IMO. |

Not now he isn't. And probs never will be! But my point was that when he was fit he was getting into the squads! They put him in at centre at one point.
Unfortunately his potential hasn't proved to be enough due to injury but still could have a big impact on our season if he remains fit |

he has never been amongst the best GB halves, injury had nothing to do with it.
and he played Wing, not Centre IIRC? |

He has never played for GB in the halves? I'm sure he has at some point.
But that wasn't my point. My point is if he kept his injury record clear, I think, in my opinion, personally, my thoughts are, that he would still be in and around the GB (England) set up. |

He's played a few games in the halves, i memory serves me he played 7 in the test after longy left the tour.

But if he stayed injury free, he would have had a shot at been first choice, IMHO. And you said he has never been amongst the best GB halves, but he evidently has been if he was 2nd choice.
Anyhow, I think he has looked good this season and really hopes he keeps it up and earns an extension. |

Great achievement, I sincerely hope he can have a good injury free run with his game...
I hope the club do not rush into any contract extensions until Rich has proven he is no longer a risk with constant injury
