i'm not a Tommy Lee fan but he has been one of our better players for weeks now, and was one of the only players shouting out orders and trying to lift the team in the derby..whilst captain fantastic just stands hands on hips |

Fact is when we have been cack before the players were weak compaed to opposition.
In this situation we have good invidiuals. Sadly we do not have one heart or one brain at the club |

Tommy is one of the few i will discount from my ranting. He at the very least puts in effort and gives it a go. |

i'm going to watch hull isberg tomorrow.they have a team full of kids,get totally stuffed.but they show PASSION.maybe tonights 17 should be sent there to see what passion is. |

Well said. The only players that gave a toss tonight was Thackray, Burnett and Maloney. The rest were a disgrace. |

I left work early, travelled across from Leeds and have to sit through 80 minutes of total disinterest from the players. It's the first time in over 30 years of watching Hull that I'm considering not going to future home games even though I'm a pass holder.

I never thought I'd ever agree with either Hull Smallears or Convict, let alone both.
Some players need to seriously get back to their roots and remember why they started playing rugby league in the first place.

Excellent post, as others mentioned chuck Lee in there as well. Dowes worked his fecking @rse off again tonight and did NOT deserve to be on a losing team. He must have played more minutes than pretty much any other prop in the competition so far.
Get the overseas recruitment up and running and the visa applications in now to get some decent quota players in for pre season. Stick a fork in 2009, it's done.  |
