I'd guess that he'll have until Easter next season to show that things are on the up. If they are still failing to achieve their goals I'd expect him to go.

If things are not on the up by next Easter, that means we'll have had another shocking start to the season and a full off-season of preparation under Radford with the team and new signings he's picked for his structure. And without any players he's let go due to being 'out of favour'. (Yes, I'm worried about Crooks and Whiting, here, perhaps prematurely.)

Is that yet another season down the drain or do you think it's realistic for a new man to turn things around next year holding those cards?

Personally, I'd love to see a big uplift for the remainder of this season. We've been relatively injury-free so there's nothing that should have prevented Radford executing his plan for an improvement on last year. And I think he must go before pre-season training if that significant uplift doesn't happen. Because, quite simply, he hasn't delivered.

Quote: Doc Brown " Radford was probably the closest thing we could get to someone like that. Problem is is that he's not got their coaching experience and I think he needed a few more years under his belt as assistant before getting a chance at the top job.'"

Radford could spend a life time as an assistant coach and he still wouldn't have the ability in any shape or form to be a head coach. He is simply out of his depth in every way possible.

Quote: Staffs FC "It's a RL forum which immediately leaves you disadvantaged as you know nothing whatsoever about the intracies of the game. You'll snipe and name call from the side lines where you feel comfortable but when it comes to decent debate about players/tactics/signings/performances etc. you're nowhere to be seen because quite frankly you just don't know enough about it. This has nothing to do with the current coaching malaise etc. - it's a general comment about everything that you pontificate on. '"

Absolutely bang on there Staffs.

I can't remember seeing a post from him discussing the game itself. They seem to focus on things like internal politics at the club, or whether he likes the person. He refrains from discussing what actually happens out there on the pitch, simply because his knowledge of the sport isn't there.

Quite sad really that he uses this site to belittle others and berate them should their opinion not suit his own. I imagine the mods have had to have a word on more than one occasion.

Quote: Staffs FC "And there we have it.

I rarely waste my time with you as your posts never deserve bothering with however just occasionally it's as well to remind you what a complete nice person you are. You come on this Rugby League forum dropping in stupid little digs and trying to compartmentalise people based on opinion. That's the funniest thing going because in actual fact you're about the only one on here with no worthwhile opinion. It's a RL forum which immediately leaves you disadvantaged as you know nothing whatsoever about the intracies of the game.

Look at your reply to me. "stop picking battles when you would never actually fight them". What a load of total and utter tripe you write down. To call you infantile would completely and utterly insult children. You're like the irritating kid in the playground who no one really likes who has nothing useful to say or add to the debate but instead tries to poke and prod and dig. Occasionally you'll throw in a real side splitter like people attending a Radford barbeque wearing knee pads. Only just got over that one myself what a comedy gem. Possibly only surpassed by that laugh a minute apology you issued a while back as though anyone actually cared what you wrote (sorry I can't remember the details but that's the case with all of your posts).

If someone puts an alternative opinion across to yours on here they immediately have to be tagged as an 'apologist' or something of that ilk. It'll be "their fault the club's in this mess" etc. Same old garbage recycled post after post. Why don't you get into the "I'm a better supporter than you" debate again - that's always a staple for you to regurgitate the same old crap post after post.

I differ in opinion to others on here - some more than others. I don't call them names or talk about not daring to fight battles and I always respect their opinions. If you reply to someone why not put a meaningful point across instead of just the usual primary school crap like your reply to me above ? If you're not a child then grow up and stop acting like the failed school bully. It's pathetic. Enjoy your comeback on me but as I stated above I wont be replying as I can't be d wasting any more time on another one of your posts for a while. I'm sure like many others I'm often left kicking myself for having wasted my time reading them to start with.'"

Staffs was absolutely right and he's no apologist.

You have no worthwhile opinion on game matters, you post merely to knock the club and insult the supporters. Ironically for one with such a high post number you are symptomatic of why the traffic on this site has fallen over the last couple of years.

and the usual suspects continue the love in

I can comment on what's on the pitch, but that is even more unpopular, any side picking Whiting and Horne will win nothing, Yeaman isn't good enough, we lose all the best players, Sneyd may be a good signing, Pryce is past it, but he and Ellis and Radford can go for a Bradford reunion.

I only need to look at the avatars of the people who think they know better, wallpaper in a teens bedroom.

we will finish outside the 8, and that is down to "ears", dress it up how you wish, but we have gone backwards with a stupid coach.
