I'd give him 2 years if he wanted it. He will be 35 by the end of it, which for someone of his proffessionalism isn't that old. He certainly isn't showing any signs of his age this year.

Even with the reduction in the quota, cusack gone and Imo its time for berro to hang them up anyway. Far to injury prone now. Would rather have fitz and ogre any day of the wk.

I think Fitz will sign a 1 year deal, there have been rumours that Sydney want him to join their coaching setup at some point. Think another year over here will be enough for him.

If he stays for another year that would be great but I'm not sure about two years.

I wish Agar would spell him in order to get the best out of him and keep him fit. I certainly wouldn't like to see him playing 80 minutes every match next season.

The last couple of games he's been really blowing 10-15 mins from the end and I'm not sure how much longer he can keep playing the full 80.

one more season is just right for CF then he will rejoin the club he loves and go into coaching and I wager become a massively sucessful one too! however if he chooses a 2 year extension to his contract age means nothing to some players as its all about condition as is the case with CF, Gene and a certain Kangaroos captain plus so many others. ..

Someone I know was at a function on Saturday night with Fitz. Fitz told him that he's staying for another year.

He will be staying for the full deal,he loves it here,he and the family are settled were they live.

Great player, wouldn't mind him getting spelled a bit though.

I reckon the fact that we 'fell' on the Wembley trail may be a deciding factor. The Aussies that come to play RL in England have the desire to reach a CC final more than anything. I can immagine that Fitzy was the most upset out of all the lads after the defeat by Leeds......and will wanna make ammends next year
