| I think that Hull FC are short of money. Adam Pearson is not rich per se. Yes he's well off compared to many on this forum; but he's poor when compared to someone like the Allam's for example. Being the owner of the club and chairman is his job. Therefore he takes a salary from the club. Quite a generous salary I would imagine. At other rugby league clubs the person in his position puts money in. My point here is that this sum of money could be used to fund either a marquee signing or two other quality signings. Some posters are bemoaning the loss of Ellis as a leader on the pitch. You may get this season out of him. But in rugby terms he is old and teams [like Warrington] will target him. I'm hearing rumours that Talanoa's off field antics and Westerman; who is not popular in the dressing room; are two of the problems. Has anyone else heard this? Lee Radford has I believe had his day. It's time to say thank you for all you've done but goodbye.

Nobody concedes 63 at home playing well but Warrington were outstanding and the idea that their win had nothing whatsoever to do with talent..........well I can only think that your disappointment is clouding your judgement. Blake Austin put on a masterclass and every single Warrington player was at least 8/10. They were a joy to watch especially Austin.

He certainly was. Once he'd spotted the weakness in our left edge defence, he exposed it over and over again. Absolute class act.

Roy castle once broke a world record for tap dancing.

Didn't do one every week though.
I used to do tap dancing but I kept falling in the sink.

Apart from the drop goal, fifty up four tries, then look at me how good am I.

| The talk of the difference in squads and money etc but after the game Phil Clarke said ‘Hull were lucky to beat London and win last week’ therefore saying how much better Warrington were and marque signing etc but Phil Clarke was (right for once) and no way do London or Wakey for that matter spend more or have better squads.

| We probably had the same amount of cap as Wakey and London on the field in those two games and if you watched the game rather than listen to Clarke, we weren't lucky, we were the better side for most of the game, just poor indiscipline and errors cost us, had Sneyd kicked well it would have been over after 60 mins.
Can we refrain from name calling please. Thank you, Karen, does he not realise that Rovers and all teams have records for heaviest defeats at home and away.
Worryingly both ours have come in the last year, that would have been a decent point.
I don't think any Hull expected us to challenge this year, but performances like Friday are unacceptable, no matter how good Warrington were.

We were only the better side on paper against London. Same old issues of ill discipline, errors and poor goal line defence nearly cost us against a newly promoted side an experienced SL side like ourselves shouldn't make too hard a task of beating.
The same old failings with a poor player attitude nearly cost us that game. London displayed a greater will and desire but just lacked that bit of quality.
We play Warrington with the same attitude and mindset and instead of a narrow win it's a huge tonking.
To see how we've fallen away from the top 4 over the last 2 seasons is alarming.
I expected us to challenge this season and last otherwise why turn up to watch.
Too many players ooc with minds probably elsewhere and underperforming with a coach who has no idea how to address the slide is a recipe for disaster.
Warrington were slick in attack. Alert to the off load, always supporting and had so many set moves to call on.
Us on the other hand ship it left or right with no pace and no idea or display the usual 5 drives finished with a kick to the corner.
Warrington would have beaten us even without Blake Austin due to their attitude and being well coached.
It's sad to see but continued results and performances are going to damage attendances undoubtedly.
A new coach new ideas fresh optimism are now needed to invigorate this club.

My thoughts, exactly. Unfortunately Adam will just let Radford bumble on, the damage was done in the second half of last season, we’re being served up the same dross and excuses but the fans fronted up and bought passes, if it stays the same many will drift away. Both Wigan and Leeds will come good, new coaches need time to settle in, time to bite the bullet and use this season as a building block. Ooooh I thought that was last season Silly me.

Not really, we were destroyed by a class team, at my age I can handle that, but Austin showed a distinct “lack” of class with that look at me drop goal.
