I don't disagree that most of the time it madness and I agree some of the signings which are rumoured beggars belief, however I suppose the option is not to open the thread. Other boards do have their rumour thread in fact so much so that theirs are stickys, I actually think ours should become a sticky as like you say for the last couple of years it is probably one of the most active threads in both off season and season.

I quite liked the rumours thread, until someone went too far and posted the Mcgoldrick rumour.

I can't think of player in SL that I would least like to sign, I'd rather have Cockayne.

Holdsworth would be a decent signing, not a brilliant and one, but he is a lot better than Horne and Smith (who Wigan are after), there isn't much out there so may be the best available.

Be great if it was a double swoop with Broughton coming also.

And to be greedy I'd still like a FB.
