Happy with the result as a wakey fan. We had a 17 year old debut at 1 and 2 18 year olds play most of the game with our first choice forwards taking a break. Also Ali and Ashurst successfully returning from long lay offs. Considering we can add

Scruton, Simon, smith, godinet, Locke, kirmond, annakin, kirke, Owen, Malloy, washy into that I thought the young team and players who got a chance showed up well. Certainly hard not to be happy with that and I think that's the general feeling from wakey fans all round. It's promising for the 8's that so many squad players can put in some decent performances like that.

We are not the same wakefield who rolled over and Its a shame we didn't get smith in earlier.

Not having a go at you here, but we hear this every week & shows how weak we are. It's always the opposition & never seems to be us that plays the ref & see what we can get away with.

We got more penalties as they were trying to slow us down, I'd Child or a stronger ref had been in charge we would have had more penalties and someone in the bin or change their style.

We should have held down more once we realised the reffing style.

The thing that made you win was that you stuck with it to the end.
After the schedule you've had your forwards had every right to be completely knackered late on and let things slip.

Goal kicking would have helped and two really soft trys from kicks. Didn't realise how many players you had missing,so an even more commendable effort under the circumstances from you.Still the 2pts were vital to us and the league table dosn't show the strength of the opposition and hope your still in s/l next season.COYH.

Good to be in the position to be able to rest so many players, must have helped with the short turnaround, you can see Wakey are playing with no pressure and some of their fringe players are really trying to impress.

Complaining's a bit strong more of an observation really, he did however give you plenty of praise, something you probably forgot to mention
