| Quote: Sebasteeno "Was it at Saints or Wigans current level? '"
Well no, but with 11 missing that would have been unlikely.
Quote: Sebasteeno "No it wasnt - it was a million miles away and whilst people like yourself are happy with us to just muddle on scraping wins against teams like Wakefield others like myself are not happy with it. Beginning of this year Pearson reckoned we might win the GF this year with his heavy investment etc - were currently a bottom half of the table side and performances are decent in small patches, hopeless at times but generally a long way away from being GF winning quality'"
The statement was that it was a desperately poor performance. I don't see the relevance of dredging up Grand finals in this context. I think it's a statement that could be questioned given the personnel available, the closeness of the game, and that we held on to win with 12 men. It wasn't desperately poor IMO.

Feel free to bog off and “support” one of them then.
It would be nice to come on here after a win a celebrate the efforts of some of our players. Just once!

| Quote: Sebasteeno "Thats absolute 54ite - everybody knows Savelio is quality - its only his injuries that make people question him'"
Quote: Sebasteeno "The haters are gonna love me for saying this but im a bit underwhelmed if im honest. He will effectively replace Mini but is he as good as Mini? - id say a long way off even if Minis career is now on the downward. Savelio is 23, he's had 4 clubs so far that none have seemed like theyve wanted to keep him, a dodgy injury record and from what i remember of him at Saints he wasnt that good anyway with rumours of him always thinking that he was better than he actually was ala Liam Watts.
We should of gone in for Joe Greenwood who went to Wigan when we had the chance - miles better player than Savelio'"

| Quote: Smiggs "Ugly but hard fought. Much to work on. Cator outstanding. Our props need to bend the opposition line more. Edge defence has already been said. Plenty to come in. Don't understand why Buchanan is surplus but Scott is wanted.'"
I agree out the two Buchanan looks more versatile, Even the coach is lamenting this decision, think Lasty said it was because we’re pretty much overloaded in the outside backs, but he looks a good second row prospect.

| Always thought Buchanan had something about him. Someone is going to pick up a really decent player

To be honest i didn't notice Tanginoa until the last 15 minutes, I thought Westerman was there best player.

| Quote: Smiggs "My judgement is based on all the times I've seen them. Buchanan has always impressed me, Scott on the other hasn't.'"
Thats only about 8 times and Scott certainly hasn't had a decent run at centre, I thought after a tough first half he has a decent 2nd half.
I'd like to keep them both, hopefully the club will change their mind.

| Jus finished watching.
We were a tad lucky to win but you make your own luck with effort.
A good side would have beaten us but we were under strength. We love a W though.
Cam Scott - for someone with a 'potential' tag he was disappointing. I was alarmed at the first 2 tackles he missed. Both one on ones and easy to make, as in the other player didn't have a lot of room. No Centre of potential misses either of those - watch again and see. Also not enough pace.
Some forwards looked tired.
I like Wynne a lot and Buchanana looks useful.
Joe Cator -the regulars will laugh here. When I coached his brother at Skirlaugh Joe used to come along and run around with the ball. Hence my influence LOL
