Must admit I didn't think it was fair to single him out. Looked pretty solid under the high ball today also IMO. Having listened on the way home to the "highlights" of RH's coverage of the Rovers game, the accuracy of their assessments leaves plenty to be desired. Lloyd's blinkered commentary on Cockayne's dismissal was hilarious.

And sometimes very similar things appear different simply because different people are involved.

Seriously though, sounds like the commentary was harsh then. Good news if he's looking safer under the high ball too, as he's been becoming a target for it. As was said earlier, will be interesting to see what happens when Calderwood's back.

Spot on, he was left with no choice whatsoever so he did what he could. No blame at all on Briscoe.

There again after hearing what Gollum said during the Rovers game, absolutely everthing they say should be taken with a pinch of salt.

In fact in the last few weeks I dont remember Briscoe costing us a try (Need to look at the 1st try last week, as Baldy says it was his fault).

Just watched the Les Cats trys again, I dont think it was Briscoe fault for the first try our defensivly line wasnt set out right, and they had a big overlap, Briscoe had to come inside or there would have been a big gap.

Our defence line needs to be worked on out wide.

That's our biggest weakness right now. Too many times we get caught out by a couple of long passes.

Been saying that for a while now. Far too often we get overlaps out wide with the winger and/or centre stranded by the not-so-sliding defence.
