This was like the CC loss to Giants
All our losses have been on a scale from Utter shoite to below average
We will NEVER EVER win a GF like that
We missed out on Ian Watson it’s clear now
The first 3 sets of 6 each already told me all I needed to see in the game
Drives then a gash kick from a poor 6
oh well we will likely finish 4-6th then get rolled out of the play offs'"
We aren’t going to win the GF this season! And you are probably right with your prediction.
But this is a building process and we were so far behind it’s going to take some time.
Thought the forwards stood up well and pretty much matched their opponents.
We are let down by lack of organisation at half back. Hopefully this will be addressed for next season?
Connor Wynne had a pretty torrid time but hopefully he can use it as a massive learning curve and come back bigger and better?
Think we are getting there slowly but for some that isn’t quick enough and they expect overnight success?

AP had had the club 10 years - are you seriously suggesting anyone should be patient after 10 years ??
unless you own Cleveland Browns
AP wanted success quick and basically he’s had not much at all and we no longer can be patient - why should we or he be ?

| Need to be more Clinical when playing the top teams , bombed way to many chances first half and even 2 at the start of the second . What shaul offers I don’t know , even out of position on the wing , he offers nothing no more , he’s just a number instead of playing with 12 men . Taylor was knackered from the beginning , his fitness is shocking and embarrassing for a professional athlete, he was just walking the ball in after the first few minutes. Once hodgson gets his own team , hopefully next season we’ll be challenging. Not a million miles away at the minute .

Surprised at that. I thought he seemed quiet. Shows what I know

| Jack Brown made 32 tackles last night without missing one. Bet there isn't many players who make over 20 tackles without a single miss against Saints. Brilliant defence from him last night.

A top team nearly at full strength reacts after a big defeat. I see what your saying now.

| Think the manner in which we ended up losing was quite frustrating, due to the fact we probably should of lead at half time. Some very questionable pressure relieving penalty given by the ref, especially the tackled in the air one deemed to be made by Macintosh who had eyes and hands on the ball.
I cannot grumble at all about the first 40, I thought Satae, Mau, Sao and Brown all played amazing, aggressive ran the ball in with venom and looked majorly up for it as always.
The second half, il watching certain players and they are showing nowhere near the fight and commitment of those I've mentioned above. As soon as Saints got on a roll it looked liked Griffin gave up, you watch back one of there tries and he just doesn't try, same with Shaul who just watched Hurrell rather than attempt to tackle him, it's just not good enough from those two and I'd be very surprised if either are included against Wigan.
I think one thing Hodgson is get wrong is bring players back into the fold who clearly arnt 100 percent match fit. We now have the reserves to get players up to scratch fitness wise. Did Griffin or Taylor play any reserve minutes to get match fit? I don't understand why were wasting bench spots on players who are blowing after 15/20 minutes, it's costing us on the pitch. I'd say this really needs addressing as does our fitness in general, we were also blowing at halftime vs Rovers. I understand Taylor and Griffin probably played more mins due to the Fash injury but surely you've got to plan for the scenario a player does get injured.
Saints away you expect to get beat, I think with some intelligent tweaks we have the foundations of a good team, looking forward to Trueman joining as he d of mopped up a couple of times with his support play an area we're glaringly lacking, why isn't Reynolds anywhere near the potential offloads?
Next game if fit, Mitch has to come in at left centre with Swift on the wing.
Evans in for Taylor until he's match fit and can learn to run onto the ball with momentum like Sao, Satae, Mau and brown did.
Griffin into the reserves until fit.
Organising half back with a kicking game needed. I'd be looking to use an overseas spot for a ressie grade with a point to prove.

We didn't 'miss out'. He was coming until Huddersfield offered him more.

| Jake Connor's defending is absolutely dismal - that and his temperament probably cost you 14 points last night.
The other thing I noticed was your tackling technique wasn't much improved from the last time you played Saints. You need to quickly get two men up top and one man round the legs to stop their very powerful ball runners - too often you get two players up top but there's no-one round the legs until you've conceded another 5-10 metres.

| Disappointed. But we have just lost to a team who are levels above anyone else. I predicted with the team we have at the start of the season coming 5/6 . Still think that. We aren't good enough yet to challenge for the top. But we are building. I think some need to to realise that. It's all well and good slagging every tom dick and Harry off but we haven't the personal just yet. 3/4 isn't a bad return and a win against Wigan will see us remain to get in the playoffs

| of course not
I love the CC but let’s be honest as it’s a 4 round knock out comp
There’s no World Club match for the winner
