if he is the only 'squad player' type forward in the squad, then I agree he has done well so far and would deserve a new deal. The trouble is that Hull over the last few years have filled the squad with 'squad players' and this reduces our chances of getting someone quality in.
For next year the focus must be on a new quality forward (or 2/3 if Moa and O'Meley also leave) a new right centre and wing, and a new stand-off (unless Nicklas and Ellis impress) |

As you say our main recuitment has to be at right centre, another frontline prop, squad prop and the retention of Manu. |

Maurice Blair is another very good centre but he plays for Melbourne which tends to make players appear better than they actually are. |

Personally I would far much rather like to see how these youngsters come on first, before we start looking who to bring in for next season. We have had far too many seasons of failure, mainly due to not having a decent pool of youth. This is a must if we have any ambitions of being a top club in the future.
