| Hope to god this is true, and about time too. AP has seen in his short reign what us supporters have seen for the last few seasons that Agar is not up to the job. I'd be happy with Noble and even Morgan in charge.

| Up until this season morgan has done a fantastic job with hkr and i'd go with him out of all the coaches who are available.
exciting times for you as you're a big club and and will be great to see you have the big attendances back again.

| Kearney is a complete non starter, he won't leave the NRL this early in his career.
I would be surprised to see Anderson come back to SL, part of the reason he went home was for family reasons. Would be my first choice though if he would come back.
Morgan will go to Cas, think all the rumours about coming here as just wind ups.
I think Millward and Noble are likely options more than the likes of Taylor and Anderson.

| Quote: Threepenny 2-penneth "Anderson is interesting, his contract was terminated by parramatta after a very poor 2010 campaign but has proven himself in the super league. Would Pearson want to make his mark by signing a coach who is perceived as a failure in Australia though?'"
Anderson has taken 2 different teams to NRL grand finals so I dont see how he can be viewed as a failure.
The big issue that lead to Anderson getting sacked at Parra was the rumours about racist remarks made to Polynesian players.

| what about Peter Gentle? He has quality and is looking to come over here, was reported in the HDM last week he'd thrwon his hat into ring for KR job, should we be looking at him if this rumour is true and Agar leaves us?

He's been doing a bit of union coaching, he used to teach and I've heard he's looking to get back into that (if he hasn't already)

He's recently signed a 4 or 5 year with Newcastle.

I know he was a good player, if somewhat aggressive sometimes but what has he done as a coach, not questioning you just not seen his coaching record at all

| Nobby for me, he has a proven track record of winning silverware, did all the work with Wigan, and what he did with Crusaders was near on a miracle.
Really not sure about Morgan, his record speaks volumes, got one over Agar on many occasions, but show me a coach who never! Morgan has won nothing!
Although who ever gets the gig I will be supporting.

| Just wondering.................. how did AP get on with Richo?
I wonder if Shane's the link in Aus we need to rekindle? But I'm still firmly of the belief that if we (the royal we, as in the SuperLeague we), want to see real progress in the development of British coaches, then we need to identify the likely candidates and invest in them becoming articled to an NRL club to learn the craft

| Strange that the Hull Daily Mail today says
Quote: "Last night, neither Pearson nor Agar returned the Mail’s calls when seeking clarification on the matter. Hull FC chief executive James Rule, and his counterpart at Wakefield James Elston, were not available either.'"
Which contradicts the tweet from James Smailes that Agar had rubbished the story.
Radio Humberside reporting the story today also say he is likely to leave.
More media pressure and the club may be forced to issue a statement before they had intended.
