| Quote: hullbg "Absolutely disgraceful performance today. For the first time in my life i walked out of a game before full time. Agar really has no idea and it is becoming increasingly clear.
Why the hell Moa who was a stand out performer against leeds last week was left out is baffling to say the least. We then hope Washy will for once show some creativity and is anyone surprised when it does not happen.
Defence is a massive part of the game but yet again we show ourselves as woefully inept in that department again.
But hey ho the board know what they are doing and have done a marvelous piece of work securing Agar to give us two more clueless seasons after this one.'"

Really?
So P&O will just think "oh well, we got on the telly this afty, it could've been worse, the Beeb might not have televised the game at all"?
Us knobstick supporters can bleat 'til the cows come home and it won't make a jot of difference. When Dubai Ports marketing people look at their return on investment, it could well be a different story. Just llok at what we've managed to achieve since P&O became our major sponsor

we've been to a grand final and a challenge cup final. Something that only Saints have done in that time.
I do agree with the general point though, that P&O signed their deal based on the fact we were a top side who would be on TV a lot...sponsoring a struggling club that plays a regional sport can't be that attractive.

i was willing to give agar the benefit of the doubt, a clear out of players, new players brought in, unfortunatly that has now worn thin, his stubborness to drop his 'mates' for players who play well one week, then next week don't even make the 17, moa for instance, our best forward last week at leeds and dropped to 18th man today! washbrook at 6, he keeps putting him there when he clearly isn't good enough, tried and failed many times last season but agar keeps on perssisting with that when turner is the obvious choice.
motivation? non existant in my eyes, going to teams like celtic and salford and watching dire peformances, its down to the coach to make sure the players don't fall into the old 'easy win' trap and has failed twice!
the board have been too hasty with a new contract, as many have said before, 2 coaches have been sacked previously, one winning us the challenge cup, the other getting us to the grand final and the elimnator play offs the season after, even after our main ball player walked out on us, agar has delivered far less and been rewarded more, ludicrous, to me he is a cheap coach and a yes man to the board, absolutey tragic our great support are not given the one thing we wanted most after sharp went, A WORLD CLASS COACH! you ony have to look at leeds, sts, wigan, hudds and warrington, all have great coaches, the latter 3 having less success than us in the last few years, but their boards had the vision and desire to change that!

| We're already into the "2011 will be great" lines. Our recruitment for 2011 can be sorted because we have a coach with a contract. It's always next year and next year and next year..........................Agar needed his squad , he needed to get leaders in , he needed to change the culture , now he needs a long contract to persuade people to sign for us.
If anyone believes that players sign for us because of Agar then they are seriously deluded , they clearly sign for the money and perhaps are pleased ( or their agents are ) that he is such an idiot so that they can get whatever they want. Then it's a simple job of telling us (sic Agarism ) stupid fans that FC was the only club for them because of us wonderful coach. Can you really imagine anyone being impressed by Agar? About anything. He is the most ]un]impressive person I have come across in any field over the last many years. Everyone knows that apart from Redhall apparently and that says it all.

| Quite simply, he is not goodn enough to be the head coach. Leeds played the ball quicker and dominated every aspect of the game, we were found wanting and had no plan b to fall back on.
We have the stadium, the support, the players and the youth set up, all we need is a top coach and we will be up there with the best in SL. Unfortunately that top coach is not Agar and never will be!

| Must have been the coach was YET AGAIN was unable to motivate the players. Where is our quick ptb's? Why don't we fight to get to our feet quicker? Why don't we offload more? Why don't we support the man with the ball? Where are our runners? Where is our desire?
Do the players have to take some blame, YES! However Agar is not and never will be the right man for the job.

Even with a poor run of results you will still have Agar for at least another year.
