I think he implied Berro will play so Washy to spell him. My centre preference would be Whiting.

Didn't want to risk him in the friendly games he said. It sounded like he was answering the question about Berrigan in the positive and saying he would be able to play at Saints to me.

I'd like to see Moa in there but I'm not convinced Agar will leave one of Dowes, Cusack or Radford out.

I can't see how we could go into a game with Radford / Dowes and Cusack if we are to play Luauki as a 2nd row , would prefer to see Moa and O meley with 2 of Radford /Dowes / Cusack .

i agree on that, but feel he may go for the percentage option, which will also mean Washy on the bench being used as replacement hooker/13 rather than having just houghton on there

I'll be impressed if he has the balls to drop one of the three actually. I'd also go with Washy over Houghton at the moment.

Houghton only covers one position, Washy covers more.

Jury is still out on Houghton IMO. I'm not sure what he brings to the hooking role is sufficient enough to warrant a bench spot, considering the current strength of the squad. If Berrigan is fit enough to handle it I would play him for as much of the 80 as possible and just give him a breather using Washy who also covers other positions and is therefore more valuable as an interchange.

I agree with what you say he is more useful interchange wise. btw has Washy played a pre season game yet?

Played in both IIRC. He spelled Houghton at Hooker in the derby and played SH at Sheffield.

| Washy could cover 6 as well if Horne takes a knock. A player who can cover 6,9 and 13 so well should ensure he gets a bench place.
