Think i was there on that occasion, is it when he gave a lift to Senna on the side of his Williams.

People ask why we have so much trouble attracting more top name signings anyone taking a look at this forum for the first time would realise why straight away the way some criticise the players wether we are winning or not.

We aim to operate at the full cap it's not about being tight.

Correct, but it's a fact that many on here either fail or refuse to accept.

Aye. The problem isn't how much we spend, it's how we choose to spend it.
Although I would argue that we cut corners on coaching appointments, which don't count on the cap.

| As one of the top clubs, we have pretty much always spent at the top of the salary cap, therefore nobody can really accuse our board of being tight in that respect.
However, with all of the extra income that we recieve from various sources when compared to most other clubs, the only real "advantage" or "edge" that we should have is the ability to spend substantially larger amounts on top class coaches and the coaching set up in general but we just don't do this.
Is that because our board are tight ?? Probably !!
Do we always take the cheap option with coaches ?? Yes !!
The most frustrating thing is that this has massively impacted on our current squad because a top coach would surely not have carried out the absolutely shocking recruitment and retention that we have over the last few seasons. Our squad has gone so far backwards in such a short space of time in terms of quality and leadership that, for me, we are no longer anywhere near able to even compete at the very top of SL with regard to actually having a chance of silverware.

| Quote: Rock God X "They are professional sportsmen and ought to be aware that it comes with the territory. Anyone in a high profile position like that will appreciate that a small minority of supporters are prone to posting rubbish about them on internet message boards. It doesn't mean they sit at home every night looking at RLFans and contemplating suicide.
I've know a few semi-pro footballers, and they read their club's message board for a laugh. They know that fans can be, well, fanatical, and they don't take anything they read on t'internet seriously. They certainly don't get as upset about it as you seem to have done.'"
I’m sure they're well aware of the territory mate and I don’t think Berro or any other player takes it seriously enough to considering self harm. But if you think that the way fans respond to players doesn’t have any affect at all on them, then I think you're wrong. Lets hope that Berro is completely ignoring everything said negative about him, his ability and his personality... And when he’s asked by other prospective FC signings what’s it like at Hull? He says, (in a Ozzy accent) “Its great mate the fans are bloody awesome”
That isn’t even the point I wasn’t trying to make anyway.
I did take a bit of offence to the inherent negativity of some individuals. I don’t understand the mentality of those who snipe and moan in one way or another at every possible opportunity. I‘m enjoying the season, I’ve got my criticisms and like anyone else and I have my opinions, but I don’t think the attention Berro has been getting is right.
Anyway.. boycott the stadium anyone? I’ve burnt my pass and my shirt….
