I can see both points of view, it's like the whole Crocker situation, I assume we are paying him whilst he awaits his visa, will that count on the cap even if he doesn't come over and play etc.etc.

But again, I'm not really interested too much in [ihow much[/i a player is paid, it's more whether or not they deserve to be paid at all. The only time the amount is ever an issue for me is if we lose someone important to our squad or miss out on a quality addition because of how much someone else is on. To a large extent, the nitty-gritty of numbers is nothing to do with the fans IMO.

It isn't. Just as if you go into a shop, you have no right to know what the staff who are serving you earn. Standee is quick to say that RL is a business when it suits him. How many businesses routinely disclose to their customers what their staff are earning?

only kiddin, I dont think it has anything to do with us what he is earning, and people who fixate about others wage are usually on a poor one!!!

As for the topic in hand I believe he has set out his stall quite nicely, he is honest, hard working and certainly looks like he has a future here but by his own admission states he has a way to go!! and that was a cracking one hander he threw as well!!

My view on him is he clearly isn't fit atm and so i think he should play in the reserves until his fitness levels improve and he can give the team more than a 10min spell. I can see potential in him but I think Washy & King are better options for now.

He looks a guy who fans will take to because he seems to be loving every minute of his time here. His badge kiss at Bradford after 20 mins of playing for the club will no doubt make him a world beater already with some of our fans.

Overall, I hope he up's his fitness levels and proves to everybody that this project was worth a punt.
