8082_1359018606.jpg I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_8082.jpg |

| Today yet again showed that Gale & Reynolds simply are not going to do anything for us. It was a pitiful performance from our experienced halfbacks, I honestly don’t think there was one positive in any of their play. The only reason I could see Gale hanging on to a place in the 17 was his kicking but even that is rank. We have no creativity whatsoever with either of them and out last plays are embarrassing or should that be non existent. I’m actually starting think that BH doesn’t know what he is doing as his team selection today was poor as was his use of interchanges. Whilst he didn’t flog Houghton for 80mins he did for the first 40 mins and he was done after halftime in that heat.
The one player who has been a standout this season in Mau and he looks to be going.
We looked a disorganised rabble today and admittedly Cats are a good side but we were miles off today and it’s a worrying sign of things to come without Connor.
For me BH needs to shake the side up and that starts with dropping both Gale & Reynolds who just offer nothing.

| Beginning to have doubts over BH now unfortunately.
Team selections and interchanges continue to look poor. No doubt we can use the injury excuse now.
At least with Sneyd he offered us points from his boot. Gales last option kicks are useless. His place kicking speaks for itself
The fact we can play like that against Wigan, and turn in the last two performances speaks volumes.
At a loss with it at the moment.

Agree, big doubts growing for me too, we are no better than under Radford or Last. He seems to be picking the team on names and salary size and not what is working.
He is an intelligent guy and a was a top player but that doesn't always translate into being a top coach

Its only because its the reporters last match covering Hull FC.He wouldnt have dared do that if he was staying on.
The new guy Dan Tomlinson knows a lot more about R/L than this one so lets hope he says it as it is rather than suck up to the club and not criticise players or the performance on the field when its deserved.

| Not surprised by the result, or the performance...
Plenty of endeavour in defence as usual. Ball in hand, terrible.Catching, terrible. Absolutely clueless...
Reynolds, not sure, why he's played on the right, when other teams have their stand off on the left.
Hodgson's selection of 3 hooker's is bizarre.
For mine, I'd enquire if Maguire, Nathan Brown or Tony Smith would be interested in taking over at the end of the season.

| Academy apart, hard to find too much to be positive about right now, if he plays Reynolds and Gale next week he should be sacked.
Season is going to be a diaster, exactly the same as last season, can't see where the next win is coming from.

Pretty accurate for me. Although I did post during the match that I think a really big positive of this season is Jack Brown. There was a lot of calls over the past few years for him to be played over people like Bowden, Fash, and this year its great to see him playing every game. Really holding his own against some big forward packs. He only made 60 metres yesterday but that was off just 7 carries. An average gain of 9 metres which was the highest of our team yesterday. 17 tackles with just 1 miss. Really puts his body about in defence and can put a big hit on.
Sao, Mau, Lovodua taking a lot of plaudits this year (and well deserved) but Brown is player of the year so far for me. Really made the jump up to Super League.

| Reynolds still clear at the top of the missed tackle count in Super League despite having missed five games. Embarrassing.
Raynolds and Gale have just three try assists between them all season. Reynolds not a single one in his last eight appearances.

| Think Hodgson has to do something or his job with be under threat, think he has to either give some young kids (Hookem, Litten or Balmforth) a go or try somehow to bring someone one in, which won't be easy with a non fed place, Reynolds leaving would be ideal, but even then salary cap might be an issue.

| Id happily drop Shaul, Reynolds and Gale, Houghton is lucky that there is no one available to play hooker for 80 minutes.

| Absolutley gutted for Carlos. He's had no luck whatsoever with injuries this season. Was due to captain the exiles next weekend too.

Good point that there are several experienced coaches available right now, but can we afford one?

| Why would we want two washed up NRL coaches? Apart from Barratt they've been the worst coaches.

Probably not....
However IF AP wants to increase sales of season passes.
This would be bigger than any new player signing..
Hodgson doesn't instill confidence, nor portray leadership . IMO.

Because they were successful here, both transformed Wigan & Saints
and both have won a GF in Australia & UK..
Now Maguire has gone, I wonder if Wests will try to lure Hodgson, somehow I doubt it..
