RL contracts usually start on the 1st November, so next week they will have been running for 6 months.
I wonder if this will have any bearing on McDonnell's situation?

I think Owen would be a good signing.
If our backs next season are
Lineham, Talanoa and Owen fighting for the wing spots and
Sa, Crooks and Yeaman for the
plus a couple of young kids pushing through (Lancaster and Logan)
I will be pretty happy.

Looking on the London Irish website their last listed fixture is 10th May. No idea about play-offs but judging by their league position they won't be involved. Assuming 10th is the last game, he could debut at the Magic weekend. |
