He only starting playing at all when his contract was up. First 3 games played well, had a shocker at Leeds and since then he's played great.

But the way we are fookin around with Moa is bad news!

He's got a 1 year contract and played well for most of it. He should have been playing more games but Agar choose not to play him.

Considering he was signed as a 'project' i don't see what more he could have done to warrant the opportunity to establish himself further.I wouldn't offer him big bucks just an improved deal with a renogtiation in a years time. What were they expecting him to do,rip it up and win man of steel??

Harsh on Moa, his first 4/5 games Agar only gave him around 15 minutes. The moment he started playing him properly he suddenly started playing well.

As long as they've been straight with him, although harsh it's probably just about fair enough. After all, he is not obliged to bide his time, he is free to sign for someone else (which I really hope he doesn't.

What worries me is the possible difference between what is good for the long term future of the club and what is good for Agar.

Agar knows he has to start delivering fairly quickly next season or his livelihood could be down the tubes, hence the attraction of a ready made top class outside back. Trouble is beyond next year we have Cusack retiring, Radford and Fitz may well be finished, Tickle will be gone for sure, what are we going to do about our pack? From this angle, coupled with the fact that most of our outstanding young players are outside backs, signing Moa up is by far the most sensible option. Trouble is Agar in his current predicament may not be looking beyond next season!

Moa wasnt played properly in the first half of the season due to fitness levels. A few games at reserve level soon sorted that out and since then he has improved most matches the pinnacle been the derby game!!!

I do to, a couple of good spells from him in a fair few games isn't enough for all this 'he is a must to re-sign'.

why he will only get better, and can go on to become a very good player

I aint seen nothing in his game that suggests to me he can become a star.
