Just wonder if it’s the same hamstring Cartwright done? Hopefully it’s not a tear or anything too serious and he’ll be back soon but concerning he said he felt a pop as sounds like a tear not just a strain. 


Is he/we just been unlucky? Seems we have a few hamstring issues Cartwright, Balmforth & Barron so maybe something needs adjusting in training or it’s bad luck. Even the mighty Wigan have lost Field to another hammy issue. 

A real worry about Jed. Just can't seem to shake off these injuries. We lose so much without him on that right edge. Fash as always will play his heart out but we desperately lack size and punch in our second row. 

Yes must admit this is my worry, not fully convinced yet he's brave but need more ball in hand for me, be interesting to see what happens once Davy Litten is fit. 

He made 3/4 try saving tackles was outstanding in the 2nd half his one on one defence is very good, but I won't praise him too much as I'll be hung drawn and quartered he also put a few big hits on Nsemba last week in our great 2nd half performance, same as the Chamberlain knockers he's not the greatest player but scored a fantastic try tonight but won't be complemented by some. Knight, Ese'ese, Watts and Ashworth fantastic shifts, 

Thought the referee and VR had a very good game, what decisions he got wrong VR corrected them(take note Jack Smith)

Whilst the Cas game is still important, I wouldn't risk anyone who is 50/50. If that means games for Kemp, Eseh, Jebson etc then that's fine.

Also Carty said the clock in the ground wasn't working so no one knew how long was left. Plus made it hard for Subs as well. 

Cartwright is NRL standard and would be playing there if it wasn't for injuries. 

Not a Fash fan but he had a good half in the back row, him and Hardaker cut everything down on the right hand side. Also pleased Chamberlain, had a solid game and took his try brilliantly. 

Real scrapping performance and one that we only dreamed might become a reality pre season. It was all many of us wanted to see a team that wanted its as much as all the 2200 on the terraces wanted it! We  couldn't sustain going behind last season never mind re shuffling all one side after losing a half and a running second row, there were some real gritty performances out there and again in a different way to last week still a performance we should all be proud of. Our dancing owner makes me smile but how good it is to see a coach who is so switched on and focused and an owner who just loves to win as much as we do. Add to that Myler and his 'wisdom before his years' with regard to building the team and we are so well placed and so lucky to be where we are compared to last year. We could so easily have been another Salford. Enjoy the weekend!
