| I think its tough one to call on in regards to the team for this one.
With an eye of the league fixture the following Thursday do we leave some players out to aid recovery for a tough period coming up? Is it worth risking Jake Connor but as been mentioned where do we then get our creativity with the likes of Gale and Reynolds still missing. Sheffield are no mugs but I would like to think that Lovodua and McNamara have enough in their game to be able to create opportunities.
I'd like to see Satae or Sao given a breather along with Houghton.
Hopefully we will see Carlos make his 1st appearance this season in the Cup game.

| Staying at the exclusive 5 star Featherstone Hotel/pub, Friday & Saturday night.
Landlord informed me his bar is open until 1am both evenings.
Should be fun.
Over this hurdle and 2 games away from Londinium and the classy looking new Spurs stadium.
That would be a weekend to look forward to.

| Lovodua has created as much in two games at halfback than Reynolds has done in all his games.

Yes agree completely with that; we have enough to win this game without risking our main attacking weapon, don't forget what Featherstone did to our season a few years ago, would hate to see someone ruin their entire season in a game we should be winning comfortably, playing a few of the back up squad/young lads.

| Anyone carrying a knock shouldn't be risked and i'd look to rest some of the big lads and freshen up. I wouldn't risk Connor, we only have to look at Featherstone a couple of years ago, our season collapsed after that, we don't want a repeat.

| Shaul, Grub, McIntosh, Taylor, Cator, Scott injured, Gale and Evans banned, I'd rest Swift, Connor, Griffin, Satae, Sao and Mint. That's 14 rested injured, suspended or banned not sure if Brett will do that but still think we have more than enough.

| I would definitely rest Jake Connor for the reasons already stated. I expect Hodgson to play him, though.

I think he will do, other option is to have Connor on the bench and only use him if needed.

You're probably right, he will play him, maybe get to a healthy lead and then withdraw him. It makes me nervous though, it would be typical of our luck to see Jake get injured, or suspended, just as we got Luke Gale back. Here's hoping we get through unscathed, I must admit to knowing very little about the Championship teams, but they'll have a desire to knock us off our pedestal, which makes me nervous, especially on the injury front.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| ... they scored 8 tries away at Whitehaven last weekend, so shouldn't be treated too lightly.

They sound like decent opposition, but they shouldn't be as fit as us, so I'd expect us to pull away, especially when fatigue comes into play.

| Carlos back on Saturday. Sounds likes McIntosh back the week after at Wigan and Reynolds could be back the following week in the Cup should we beat Sheffield.

If we are going to blood a few youngsters I'd rather have Connor there. Purely because McNamara is still learning and Lovodua isn't really a 7. I'm much more comfortable having youngsters in the side if there's someone of real quality steering them around. Start Connor and hopefully the game will be done and dusted by half time and we can wrap him in cotton wool then.

| Whilst i understand the argument about not playing Connor leaving him out/resting him for this game sends out the wrong message to others in the team in that the club considers him a golden boy.
Even though we have injuries we should still be able to blood one or two of the younger players and if anyone is rested it should be Satae, Sao or even Houghton
I expect Connor will play and we will field a strong side with a couple of the younger players on the bench and like others have said get the game won and use the bench interchanges well.
