| He fits the profile of the team we are trying to build. I'm a bit surprised at the length of the deal and thought 2 years might be more appropriate. He needs to be more consistent, run his weight and get his offload back but overall I'm pleased he is staying.

Maybe we should only reward those who have been wholly consistent then? Not sure what Westerman & Ellis could do on their own though.
Just about everyone has been dropped at some point and Watts was hampered from the start due to injuries wrecking his pre-season, he's now showing consistent form and will hopefully continue that.

It could quite easily be suggested that his time at Doncaster has then coincided with an upturn in consistency and form, resulting in a contract offer?
There are far too many who mistake ordinary / average performances as being poor.

| He's had plenty to deal with off the pitch this year.

Everyone has been dropped except some old favs, because our coach has no idea of his best 17.

Not too pleased with this, he only seems to start playing when his contract is coming up to renewal.

I will put my hands up I am wrong thought with all the talk of him leaving this season he was at the end of his contract.
Still not happy with it has not shown enough to me to deserve a three year deal.

Best years ahead of him.'"
I hope you are right about his best years are ahead of him, he has potential but I have seen that with so many over the years who waste it.
I would go with Feka being our best prop this season but hey its opinions we all have one.
I will be happy to be proven wrong as I passionately want us to do well, but I cant remember anything this year where he has stood out, not just full games but any incidents, passes ,breaks, try saving tackles, but it has been a poor season for the team in general.

| I'm happy with this. Offload-wise he's excellent. If his off-field life has been a bit turbulent, it's good that the club has faith in his ability.
He's a similar mould to Kingy - hopefully without the alcoholic element.

| Good news he deserves it IMO. Now we just need to play to his strengths and encourage him to offload by supporting him.

Fully agree. It's easy to say that his offload game has gone to pot, but it is hard when there's nobody to offload to. If we get more people following him in he might start looking for it again.
I'd still like to see him put another half stone or so back on, personally, give him a bit more impact in the collision.

| This is a good signing IMO he was signed for the future as a talent so why not keep him. I think gentle tried to make him too mobile, i think one thing Radders has done is get him running straighter and got that offload back, would still like to see him scoring more tries like he did at the dark side.

We had high hopes when we signed him and at first he seemed to me to even surpass those expectations. Sadly for a variety of reasons his standards fell. I hope he does not do the same with you and gets back to his previous high standard. Hope he has a miserable game when we come to the KC however.
