Wasn't aware of this! Lets save him for the derby then!

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

I think Turner will be told he is covering the stand off position just like he was scrum half when Long was injured. If Craig Hall has a good game on the right wing I would still bring back the specialist in that position if we had one fit!
That said maybe stand off if Turners future position?
Its a credit to the players that the coach feels they are able to deputise out of position when injuries occur but I would always prefer a specialist if available.
To answer your question BDT. Play him right centre in the Derby.

| I said that the other day, Turner to centre and Whiting to the wing, Rovers attack predominantly down the left side and Craig Hall will get caught out again like at Wigan.

What happens to Whiting and Hall?
Fwiw i think Turner is a specialist 6 of the future.

| If fit he plays, if not he doesnt... simple as that...
The Derby although carries extra spice it is just another match to be won to the club so there will be no saving for derbies rubbish involved.

They can't all play right centre! Anyway it looks like we will need one of them on the right wing I reckon.

So would you play Hall on the wing to cover Calders when he's clearly looked out of position there, or would you use Turner out there as cover? (i'd maybe even preference using Lyne there)
Whiting shouldn't ever be considered to play on the wing although covered well there on Friday.

The bottom line is if we are going to play either Hall or Turner on the wing then dont be surprised if they do look out of position because they are!!!
I would play Lyne on the wing against Salford on Saturday.

and if youre Craig Hall and youve been dropped on the back of it you must be thinking 'boll*cks to stepping in there to help the team out again'

Playing on the wing to cover vs Wigan. Why would anyone be happy to cover out of position when the outcome is that as a form centre you're then dropped?
