Exactly. Even with your injuries and adversity your team pulled together and played with a guille and determination instilled by your coach.
This is were we fall down. We can take defeat but the style in which we play is what leaves a bad taste in many supporters mouths and that for me is down to the coaching

| It all goes right back to the cheap options in coaches after Mcrea, we let out No.2 John Kear do the job and fair enough we got some good rewards ie, the Challenge Cup but the club should have hit the button right after Mcrea. The cheap option never works and is soon exposed and it's our stupid, short-sighted board that's to blame. They are to blame for allowing cheap coaches bring in average players, therefore we have not kicked-on for 3 years.
You can't blame Sharpe or Agar they were offered the job on the cheap sand are doing what they can at their level. If we really want to strike gold we need to pay for it, 'you don't get owt for nowt' yet we persist in doing the same thing over and over again - they have ruined my club and all for what - a grade A licence.

| I do feel for you guys, we went through it last season - we had quality players and they were totally miscoached (players out of position all over the place, Thorman used to be a good player till he was stuck at fullback)
But I am slightly ammused by you saying the team in 2nd spot, with the best defence and 3rd best attack in the league is not good.

You weren't tonight. An on form Hudds team would have comfortably put 50 past us. As it is, they came up with a lot of unforced errors and generally looked poor. The odd spark of invention from Brown and Hodgson (the good one) was all that was really produced.
Defence was fairly solid, but it wasn't really tested.

| well i'd say that for a team that isnt very good they have every chance of making the CC final and going all the way in the play offs.
if the play offs were this weekend I dont think anyone would want to play against hudds, very big strong side who play some good rugby.
I dont mind admiting they easily had the beating of us both times we played em.
as for you saying they didnt look that great last night it says it all , they played poor and still beat you 24-0, I'm not having a dig at hull , just stating facts.
I do still think that you [imight[/i just make the playoffs if a couple of other results go your way as you have a boat load of players coming back
