| Quote: BalearicHullFan "Its 90% Agar's fault. He is responsible for this team. We have the players despite the injuries to be compertitive against teams like Wakefield, no dispreact intended to them.
But poor fitness, poor defence, poor offence, poor subbing, poor formation, and clueless attack in a team that actually look like their frustrated as well is inexcusable. The player have to take some of it on their shoulders, but its the lack of the experience in the coaching role that is our main problem IMO.
'"
Agree with that mate.

It may not help.
It didn't help though that they handed contract extensions to some of the problem players. That was just dumb.
It maybe just needs someone with a higher profile and harder attitude to knock the players into shape.
God knows, but you are right it's been a long running problem. When will we see the end of it?.

| Tonight was down to players not been interested in the 1st Half and saving their own face in the 2nd by showing what they can do.

Don't agree, we almost scored a superb try in the first haf (prior to Brough interscepting).
Players are frustrated as well.

| Give Wakey a bit of credit - the defence was excellent in the first half, and put a lot of pressure on you, which forced the mistakes. Yes, you are playing below your best, and obviously lacking a lot of confindence, but Wakey were up for it, and played one of the best first halves in terms of respecting possession and completing the tackles they've played this season.

Don't think anybody is trying to suggest otherwise. However the score line flattered us, and we have the players to be than that. Wakefield fully deserved their victory.

Have to agree with that. Our pack is absolute total cr@p. It would be better with Crocker and Lauaki for sure.

What a weird response.
I was trying to illustrate that Hull were trying to play Rugby League in the first half at times, not that we deserved to be on the score board.

| Total shambles. Who is our defensive coach? Has he been on holiday for the last month. We must be the easiest side in the SL to defend against and the easiest to make yards against

If it is Jon Sharp he should be sacked tonight.

Saying that when our new coach comes in (almost inevitable IMO), he should be allowed to have a clear out without the least amount of restrictions possible. Not because of the players attitudes particularly, they do have a no give up attitude, but because they are the wrong players and again that comes down to coaching.'"
Totally agree. Top post
