KNOCK OFF NIGEL

If you want 'value for money' and 'entertainment' - then go to the theatre, or cinema or rent a DVD

this is sport, an imperfect science, where someone has to win and someone has to lose.

God - you want a warm and fuzzy ending - this aint Gerry Maguire!
its real life!

i dont take myself seriously at all. but i just hate negativity when its not warranted. The difference in yesterdays game were 2 missed kicks by Tickle.
4 points

listening to 95% of the people on here - 4 points equates to terminal cancer, amputations, blindness, HIV, and finding out you were adopted - all in 5 mins!

Its pathetic - we lost by 4 points in a local derby - its not life or death, HullFC will still be the better team, but when your own 'supporters' (i use that term lightly) sit there and dont sing or chant or anything - then you have to worry about the fans. You really really do!

When a Bulls fan texts me and talks about eh lack of atmos - well........what can you say!'"

its not just about yesterday, its about the general direction the club is heading in

they've just signed someone who may be sent to jail in 2 weeks time, are you telling me your completely happy to keep paying to see the club run like this?

Out enthused us
Kick chased better
wanted it more
better coached

and could only beat us by 4?
well, thats perspective eh!

maybe you should actually absorb what you said - if their better coach can only beat us, because we missed 2 kicks - just how much better is he exactly?

I actually agree that there's been an overreaction to the loss, but I can understand why. It's another Derby loss and it comes on the back of a run of poor performances reminiscent of last season. But the fact is, people are still supporting the club by turning up at games and paying their money.

I was at the game. There [iwas[/i some signing and chanting, but the performance on the pitch didn't give the crowd much to shout about until around 60 minutes in. And I really wouldn't put much weight on a Bulls fan's idea of what constitutes and atmosphere.

Hull fc will be in his blood like it is many of us on here, we all see and do things differently

but you can't away from the fact we are poor on the pitch lacking ideas and motovation and run by a set of bufoons who just send the spin doctor out to try and pacify us

He didn't say he wanted to win all the time. He said he wanted to be entertained, win or lose. Not too much to ask when paying today's prices really.

they created far more chances than us, they was the away team came in to our back yard and left with the 2 points

they have been in super league for 3 seasons recording 6 wins out of 9 against thats a 66% success rate compared to our 33%

The score flattered Hull. Rovers should have put more past us.

Reardon pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife, and was told to 'expect a custodial sentence' by the judge and will be sentenced in 2 weeks time. And Hull FC laughably ignore their own 'stop domestic violence campaign' they unveiled only yesterday to sign him!

and in response to the other poster, i will always support Hull FC, but support isn't blind, our fans were already very loyal in renewing their passes for this season after an abysmal 2008 and a patchy 2007, that loyalty is going to run out. We simply arent worth paying the highest prices in SuperLeague to watch.

Quote: Kosh "Some points...

1. You may not have noticed, but we have one or two things to moan about ATM.

2. If you think that Rovers fans are any different, you should read their board more often. And you'd get a real eye-opener if you read their 'private' forum.

3. This is a forum for folk to come on and discuss things that concern them. Occasionally some steam gets blown off. If you don't like that, don't read those threads. Or maybe join in and put an alternative opinion.

4. The crowd came alive when the team did. That's no coincidence.

5. You may want to try taking yourself just a little less seriously. icon_lol.gif

But they didn't. And I'm sure they would have done if they could. So maybe they weren't that much better than we were after all?
