Maybe Hodgson wouldn't be the best value for money but we definitely need to start looking at another hooker to work with DH. Its unrealistic to think DH can continue playing 80 mins as he hits his 30's and hes starting to pick up injuries which previously he never did. If Litten is the answer then great but I cant see Washbrook being here next season so if Litten still isn't ready then we need an alternative.

I agree, think Litten could be the answer and should be ready for a few more games next year, hopefully he will get a good run of games at Donny and will benefit like Abdul did.
If we don't think he will be ready I'd look to bring James Cunningham back to the club.

I hope not, although he is a Radford type winger, too many errors in his game, I'd rather have Lineham back.

Interesting one. Wire obviously signed another back today & seemed to have plenty of options anyway and we're probably an outside back short in the squad.
It's quite difficult to say where & when we should use Watts's cap space. We're well-stocked at prop & centre. Right now we need a hooker, but how much game time would a new hooker be likely to get when Houghton returns? At half we have Sneyd & Kelly with Connor likely moving to 6 next year. Wings we're ok, maybe need a backup as mentioned. Fullback, I've spoken about Shaul, he's brilliant at certain things, but useless if we try and use him as a pivot in attack, Miloudi backup. I'd probably say 2nd row, after Mini & Manu we're straight onto our youngsters (although I'm really impressed with Lane), assuming Hadley & Abdul spell each other at 13.

| We need an impact player - a Willie Manu, Sam Moa (when he first came), someone who can lift the team and the intensity. At the moment, we replace like for like and have no variety

Absolutely agree with you but I'm assuming we have no quota places left so will have to wait until next year.

That's right, we have all 7 Non-Fed spots used at the mo.
Kelly, Talanoa, Manu & Mini all OOC at the end of this year.
Paea & Faraimo OOC 2019.
Tuimavave OOC 2020

Talanoa and Mini to leave for me at the end of this year (probably Kelly too), so could be some new blood next year

I agree with you.Its great to see young players coming through but at this stage you cant expect them to deliver every game they play especially if given a run of games like Masi,Fash and Jordan Lane have recently.
In the meantime i would use Griffin off the bench to provide a bit of impact into the forwards.
I still dont rate him as a centre but have seen enough of him to see when he is fresh he would have the power to bust some tackles.

Kelly is odds on to leave anyway as he and his family want to go back to Australia
Minichello looks to me as though he is playing his last season. You cant go on forever
Talanoa possibly.Wouldnt surprise me to see jack Logan take his place on Friday

| I just hope we can persuade Manu to stay, as replacing him and Mini would be really hard.
Talanoa is the hard one, so effective on his day, but has issues with defence and no pace.
I would like to see Griffin replace him, as I feel it is his best position to use his skills.
Sign an overseas
Josh Jones or Taai (Or similar type) to replace Mini
Connor/Abdul to replace Kelly.

Agree with most of the above though for some reason whilst Connor linked up well with Kelly it doesn't seem to work too well when its Connor/Sneyd together for some reason.

I agree with that, the Connor/Kelly combination was great but Connor/Sneyd seems really stilted.
