We travel to most away matches and the children aged between 12 and 15 usually go into the singing middle whereas the adults prefer a better view to the side of the posts. After the fantastic first half during which Albert scored two tries( including the one where he kicked with either foot at pace was true class), the children came back to say one 'fan' kept adding a couple of his own words to the Albert Kelly songs which abuse him for the colour of his skin. One of these isn't a term you really hear nowadays and they had to ask what it meant. The children challenged this fan as to why are you saying that only to be told "if you don't like it, f*** off somewhere else".
On hearing this, he was challenged by some of our group, he didn't deny it and luckily for his health, was reported to and removed by Salford's stewards but not before scanning his id as they are obliged to because they report incidents like this to both Hull and the RFL.
I am disgusted that not only does this happen in 2017 but a Hull FC player by a Hull 'fan'AND in my opinion, our best player this season who has just scored two fantastic tries against second in the league and who
we are all pretty much resigned to 'enjoy him while he is here'.
I took a letter to the club on Monday for Adam Pearson asking him to remove this person from our club - if people feel that way, just don't sing, presumably they didn't celebrate any of his tries this season which add up to more than any other player in black and white this season. I thought we'd moved on as a society from late seventies when I first started going - the worrying thing is that 'fan' probably wasn't even born then!'"
I know the guy concerned with this, he is loyal home and away supporter, never misses a match. He knows he has done wrong and is absolutely horrified at what he did, he had far too much to drink (which he knows is no excuse) and if he gets the chance will apologise to all concerned. No doubt that will not be enough for some people but it happened and won't happen again. |

Alcohol is no excuse for racism or any other form of unacceptable behaviour.
Either know your limits and don't drink too much or don't drink at all if you can't handle it.
He can apologise until the cows come home for me. Behaviour like that should not be excused or tolerated.
A lengthy ban or total ban from Hull games sends out the right message for me and should act as warning for any other drunken idiot.
We do not need fans like that in my opinion. |

No, he's clearly a racist who lets his feelings out when lashed. No place for him associated with our club and I hope he gets a life ban |

I'm not a Labour supporter as it happens and I did vote to leave the EU so that's undone any potential 'support' 
Whilst being apologetic might slake some, as others have said, stuff said when boozed up tends to represent true feelings.
life-time ban, IMO, no, depends on how club and player see it but think some ban is appropriate.

If no complaint has been made to the police for a "hate crime" then the club don't really have grounds to ban anyone. Agreed it's unpleasant, but so is the language you hear on the terraces in general, especially some imbeciles making comments about homosexual players. Everyone would end up banned for something!

How anyone could support a corbyn lead labour party Is beyond me, really do think this country is its own worst enemy sometimes! Anyway yeah alcohol fueled racist comments are completely unacceptable. Excited to see kelly tomorrow in full flow ripping cas to bits, mom performance me thinks tomorrow

Oh well if the club does nothing because it hasn't been reported to the police but was instead to our owner who to date has not responded to my letter to him, they will be getting two long standing East stand reserved season passes back as well as away support for almost every game.
The 'fan' was clearly drunk but those words must be in his vocabulary to have come out AGAINST OUR BEST PLAYER!
Tomorrow I will be wearing my South Sydney Indigenous shirt which bears the symbol of Albert's family, the Dunghutti in support of him as it's more than Hull FC have done to date. |
